A reader lives a thousand lives. We live, hurt, grieve, hate, love and die with our favorite characters.
It is an escape from our bland, ordinary lives.
I can sit, though not still, for hours on end and jump into the worlds of the fictional characters, their thoughts, their problems, their solutions, their lives.
For theirs are much more adventurous and thrilling than mine will ever be.
