Severus saw Lily for the first time in many years, he couldn't believe it because he saw her die that night in Godrics Hollows that Hallowe'en with his own eyes.
Lily told the death eaters everything that happened the past years. She also told us the things Dumbledore did. Severus always thought that Dumbledore wasn't that evil, he always thought that those are rumors. But if these words are coming from Lily he believed them. Now he really turned his back on Dumbledore. He apologized to Lily for making those awful potions that needed to be tested, but he never knew they were being tested on Lily, the love of his life. How could he make her suffer! He knew that he does not deserve her forgiveness. He regretted everything he did that made her suffer.
Lily's Pov
Severus asked me if we could be friend again. I decided to give our friendship a second chance, he was my first friend in the wizarding world after all.
Severus's Pov
Lily forgave me, she gave me a second chance, I hope that I wont mess thing up this time.
