Prologue

[2019]

His first intention to occupy the top of a bunk bed was to get himself some privacy. But when winter came, he cursed his past decision a lot.

The heater has been working all day long - thanks to his habit of spending his day off under a blanket despite the weather - yet he was still shivering.

"Having spicy ramyeon sounds good." He muttered.

Looking at the clock, it showed that it was nearly 2 am at the moment. Another curse left his mouth. He did not want his face to bloat up when he woke up, but the idea of having way too late midnight snack was even more tempting at the same time.

After tossing his tiny legs inside the duvet due to the dilemma, he eventually decided to make ramyeon, silently stepped out of the bedroom he shared with Hyunjin and Seungmin.

The lamps around the dorms were being turned off. Such situation almost - keyword: almost - made him turn his heel and head back to the bed. But his hungry tummy did the impossible, dragged the owner to the kitchen despite how eerie it was.

As he made his way there though, he noticed the light in the bathroom was on. His fast pulse eventually calmed down a bit knowing someone was still up and that he was not alone.

But then, chill ran down his spine the moment he realized whoever in the bathroom was has been there for quite a while now. He gulped at the thought that he was actually all alone all this time.

Just like that dumb character in any horror movies, rather than turning up the flame so the ramyeon could boil faster, he turned off the stove and approached the bathroom instead.

His heart race sped up in each step. Lungs began to stop inhaling air until he did hear the faint sound of streaming water coming from the shower. He slumped his shoulders down for worrying over nothing.

"Who's crazy enough to take a shower at this hour?" He mumbled to himself. He then decided to go back to his abandoned, most likely swelling ramyeon in the kitchen at the idea.

But he stopped right away when he heard a faint sensual groan from the bathroom.

Logically thinking, what he heard just now, all the more reason why he should walk away from his current spot.

But no.

He just stood there, listened to the arousal melodious groans with cheeks flushed red instead.
