Ladybug and Cat Noir sit together on a roof, gazing up at the Eiffel Tower. The bright lights on the tower illuminate the dark sky and the wind caresses Ladybug's face. She closes her eyes peacefully and takes a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air.

Cat Noir watched her, completely mesmerized. Her porcelain skin glows in the light of the Eiffel Tower and her silky hair shines, compelling him to run his fingers through her strands. He resists the urge, of course, knowing that she's in love with someone else. He feels a pang in his heart, thinking about this other guy who he despised with his whole heart.

"Do you ever think we will defeat Hawk Moth?" Ladybug asks, filling the comfortable silence. She worries she won't be able to fulfill her duty as Paris' superhero. People depend on her, but she doesn't feel as though she is making progress. It's just the same over and over: akumatized villains, a battle and then fixing everything.

"We will one day," he says, trying to reassure her. He notices her face scrunch with worry and insecurity. He wishes she saw herself the way he saw her: as the girl who could miraculously do anything and who could always bring a smile to his face. "I believe in you, milady. You can do anything you put your mind to, and I'll always be here to help."

She glances at her partner and smiles, relieved. His heart flutters as he gazes at her striking bluebell eyes. "Thanks."

"I can't imagine not being by your side, milady," he says. "I don't know what I would do without this life." He sometimes wishes Hawk Moth would never be defeated, wanting to always be with Ladybug.

"It's hard to imagine. But we would still hang out, Kitty. There's other things to do in Paris other than fighting villains."

"It's such a daily habit now. I can't imagine a future without evil butterflies who empower people and make them pigeon overlords or bubble creators."

She gave a small chuckle, entertained by Cat Noir's comment. He was a bright light in her life, supporting her entirely and always making her laugh. But, of course, she was in love with Adrien. "It's hard to imagine, but I've always wanted a normal life. I want to have three kids and a pet..."

"Hamster!" the two superheroes exclaimed at the same time. Cat Noir, realizing they both wanted the same pet, smiled widely.

"Told you, it's meant to be," he said, leaning toward her so their noses were almost touching. He did it in a teasing manner and Ladybug rolled her eyes, pushing his face away by placing a finger on his nose. Cat Noir rubbed his nose in mock annoyance and gave a slight pout, but was overjoyed by that small touch. They touched often, considering how they always fell into each other when fighting supervillains, but every contact he had with her sent a shoot of electricity in his bones. "What do you want to be when you're older?" he asked, wanting to know more about her desires.

"I've always wanted to be an Agreste," she said, not thinking. She blushed bright red when she realized what she said, and hoped desperately he wouldn't notice her misstep. "I mean, fashion designer."

"I would like you to be an Agreste, too," he answered, wiggling her eyebrows at her. His response was automatic; he didn't quite make the connection. But when he did, his eyes widened in shock and he felt extreme joy. Did Ladybug like his civilian identity?

She looked at him, her eyebrows scrunching in confusion. "What?.."

"Well, if you really want to be an Agreste all you have to do is ask. I can easily arrange it, bugaboo."

Ladybug's glossy lips fell open. "Adrien?"
