( we see kate setting up some snacks with some of the other parents and sarah coming up to help then kade walking in wearing skiny jeans black button down and black oxfords walk in and walk up to kate to say hello )
Kade: so this is well fancy
( kate startled )
Kate : oh hey well you clean up nice
Kade: thank you i came from sisters house and went to hang with joe which he should be here he said he wanted to look extra special tonight for some reason ( smiles looking up at kate )
Kate : ( smiles and blushes ) how are you single making women swoon like that
Kade: i guess nobody wants to get to see another side full of my horrible past and my scars
Kate: i guess someone will come and see that side of you
Kade : yeah i guess so my sister always tries to set me up but none of them ever want that passion that drive to go after what they want
Kate : seems like sarah did that knowing joe has a crush on her
Kade : you know about that ?
Kate : joe always makes an excuse to go on his rounds early just so he can see sarah
Kade: wow he uh has it really bad for her
Kate : ever since she started working here thats all joe thinks about on a daily basis
( we see sarah arrive at the door and kate warns kade to go hide )
Kate : ( squeakiness in her voice while smiling ) speaking of sarah you might want to go do that
( kade looks over at the door sees sarah and takes kates advice and and goes off to see if joe is here while sarah and some of the other girls go up to talk to kate )
Kate: hello ladies you all look so lovely
Sarah: thank you is kade here yet ?
Kate : nope i havent seen kade yet probably went to go look for joe you know those two have become great buddies
sarah: aww well hopefully kade comes
Kate : ( murmurs under her breath ) kade already is
sarah: What
Kate: nothing mingle with parents you know the drill
sarah: got it see you in a bit
( pan over to where we see kade waiting for joe and joe slowly pulling up and get out and see kade)
joe : you are here early im guessing to see kate
kade : maybe im hiding from sarah good lord dont give away my location man
Joe : oh right yeah where is she i saw her talking with kate and if you need me ill be in inside
Kade: ill be out here watching people walk in ill be there in a min
( we see joe walk into the building and kate and sarah talking and joe walk up to kate and sarah and then moments later kade walking in to stand beside joe and they listen closely as kate gets behind the podium and talk to the parents of rosewood high )
Kate : well ladies and parents welcome to another school year! woo
( the crowd cheers )
Kate : friends faculty and staff we are going to have a fun year and safe year with the hiring of more security guards ( she looks over at kade smiling and kade smiling back at her )
( sarah sees kade and walks over to whisper to kade )
sarah: hi kade you look amazing
Kade : thanks so do you hey joe im going to go get something to drink you want anything ? ( hinting to talk to sarah )
Sarah: ill come with
Kade : i got it ill get you one
Joe: thanks ( winks )
kade : thats a little weird dont do that
joe: got it
(Kade walks through past some people to get to the drink table when the crowd cheers as kate gets off the stage to mingle with parents and joe and sarah come up happily to kade joe talks excitedly with kade about sarah liking him too )
Joe : aww kade i owe ya just telling sarah how i feel
Kade: and ??
joe : she feels the same way i never knew i was too scared to even ask but you gave me the confdence
Kade: i knew you could do it buddy go ahve fun
sarah : well kate is coming with us would you like to join us ?
Kade : umm yeah sure that would be good ( smiles and walks out to a picture to stare at it when we see kate walk behind kade to talk )
Kate : our sports teams have always brought this school great pride and joy
kade: ( turns around to see kate with her hands behind her back ) huh oh yeah i see that
Kate : umm yeah are you ready to go you , me , sarah and joe are going out to local bar and grill i think you will love it
Kade : cool ( smiles and looks down trying to hide a blushing face from kate )
( scene fades and we go intoa new scene where its late night the city lights are shining on a wet road and we kate kade sarah and joe walk into a bar )
