Those were the first words that Y/n heard before gasping and waking up. Groaning as he slowly lifts himself from the ground.
Y/n:*He places his hand on his head and the other on the wall to balance himself*"Ow, my head, it feels like someone grabbed a bat and swung at it. Aiming for a homerun, but did they have to hit it super fucking hard?" Y/n says while walking out of the alleyway.
As Y/n went out of the alleyway, he sees parked vehicles along the street but not a single person was around.
Y/n: *looks both ways* "Is there anyone here?" He asks before looking up seeing as it early morning. His eyes widen in shock to see 2 moons. One being a smaller moon while the other a larger but shattered moon.
Y/n: 'where in the hell am I' he says before noticing the newspaper box in front of him. He walks to it, hoping to gain information. He reads what is printed on the front page.
Newspaper: THE GIANT TREE IN RED GRAVE CITY HAS GROWN EVEN LARGER THAN BEFORE. One month ago, A large tree sprouted out from the ground in the center of the city. Since then, it has killed most of the population. Kingdoms from all over, have rallied together to put a stop to this madness. But so far, they could only delay the process from it spreading to other neighbouring cities. Today the Heroes, Huntsman, Shinobi, Devils, and Angels will gather and give one final all out assault on the tree that broke the balance of the world and restore the land of the very peace everyone has worked for.
As Y/n finished reading the newspaper, he suddenly realized where he is.
Y/n:'Am I in Devil May Cry 5 ? Wait, no, nevermind, it mentions kingdoms on here. Well that, and there are 2 moons up in the sky. Maybe also everything else but it's just a thought' he thought that last bit sarcastically.
Y/n thought in his head before realizing again on what it said on the newspaper.
Y/n: "Wait, it said "one month ago" and that everyone would gather there to destroy the tree. And that means it's going to bloom today and kill everyone nearby it!" *says while screaming it out loud and grabbing the sides of his head*
But while he was freaking out, he realized his clothes were different from what he wore before.
Y/n: "huh, wait these clothes aren't mine" he stated while quickly claiming down and looking around for anything that gave off a reflection to see himself fully.
Y/n: "huh that's how I look like!?"
