Trans Senpai x Trans Spirit Because I can

The Pride Fic

     Spirit sighed quietly, he felt awkward and uncomfortable and he didn't want Senpai knowing as they walked down the sidewalk. The two were going out for ice cream, they had just gone clothes shopping and although Spirit couldn't buy much (due to not having a human form anymore, not since he was trapped in the dating sim) he had bought a few ribbons he could wear on his head (which was essentially his entire body). Senpai seemed to notice Spirit's sudden mood change, and looked up at the floating ghost before asking: "Hey Spirit, you ok? You look sad..."

"Hmm? I'm fine, why?"

"Is it the ribbons? I- I know red isn't exactly the best color for you since your whole body's red- so we can always return them and get different ones! Like purple, or pink, or-"

"No, it's not just the ribbons... It's just... Senpai, do you think I'm too... feminine..?"

"What..? No, not at all! Why would you think that..?"

"W-Well, it's just... I wear ribbons a lot, and- and somedays I want to wear makeup, like lipstick and I don't want to appear too feminine and-"

"Dude, that's the silliest thing I've heard you say all day! There's no such thing as being 'too feminine'!"

"B-But... What if people think I'm a girl..?" Spirit whispered and Senpai shook his head.

"Nonsense! Your a guy! Unless you want to be a girl..?"

"No, I don't want to be a girl... The- the periods, and having a... you know... and wearing bras, it's just something I was never comfortable with..!"

"Yeah I get where your coming from, I'd much rather wear a binder instead! And boxers, girls panties are just really uncomfortable!"

     The two looked at each other for a moment before going wide eyed.

"Wait, are you trans!?" They both said in unison.

     There was a moment of silence before the two started cackling, laughing at both their sudden realization and the fact that they said the same thing at the same time. Senpai and Spirit finally stopped laughing after a few minutes and Senpai had spoken up.

"But you know... If you don't mind me asking... How exactly did you get your face to look so... Masculine? Or- were you born with such a handsome face?"

"M-My face isn't that handsome..! But I actually created it, my human form is... well, nothing like this." Spirit blushed lightly as he spoke.

"Wait- so you like- made your entire form? Or just the face?"

"All of it, actually. I wanted to look more... Masculine, but it's a lot harder then it looks for someone to make a new form for themselves! Took me fourteen years to make... whatever you call this."

"Hey, give yourself some credit! At least you made yourself a form!"

"Yeah, a ridiculously simple one."

"I like it! It's charming and... it's you!"

"Well, I mean it's not-"

"Nope, not hearing it, just shut it and accept the compliment!"

"But-"

"Ah ah ah! Your a handsome ghost and you can't tell me otherwise!"

"Nnhh your too nice to me..!"

"Well duh, I'm your boyfriend! I'm gonna be like, ridiciously sweet to you! But! I mean it when I say your a very handsome spirit!"

"I... Thanks, Senpai. Your the best, you know that?"

"Of course I am, what else would I be!"

"God your so arrogant sometimes..." Senpai ignored the ghost's snarky remark, instead focusing on the location they were heading to.

"Actually, now that I think about it, the ice cream shop that I wanna go to has special pride themed ice creams! I got the bi themed one with Pico the other day and it was delicious!"

"Pride themed..? But isn't it July?"

"Well yeah but it's a local business that celebrates pride all year round! Err- all the warm months that is."

"They aren't open in the winter?"

"They are but they only sell hot drinks then, nothing special yet! They posted on their social media page that they want to find a way to do latte art in the winter!"

"Sounds like a nice and small business..!"

"It is! Anyway, we should get the trans themed one! You know, since we both just..."

"I dunno, I don't want the rest of the town knowing I'm out yet... Plus wouldn't it make more sense if we got different flavors and tried each others flavors out?"

"That's such a romantic idea..! Yeah! I'll get the trans one and you can get uhh... The..."

"I'll get the rainbow one. It's not gonna be like- a bunch of different flavors, is it?"

"Nope, you pick a flavor and theme and they sorta just... make it!"

"Now I'm curious what it looks like..."

"Your gonna love it! But we should hurry, wouldn't want to keep them past closing time! And then afterwards I'm gonna do your makeup when we get home!"

"Wha- where did that come from!?"

"You said you wanted to wear makeup sometimes right? And who better to do your makeup then me!"

"I mean... Yeah, I think you'd do a great job..!"

"I love you Spirit, your so cool but fun!"

"I love you too Senpai, your... not half bad." Spirit blushed as he spoke, if he could he would hide his face.

"I'll take that as a compliment! Now come on, we gotta go!"

     And with that Senpai ran off, Spirit chasing after him as he attempted to keep up with the surprisingly fit boy. It was nice to finally come out to someone, and be accepted, even if it was an accident.
