Cold pricked and in my slumber giving me shivers. My eyes squinted out of curiosity. The morning glow left me blind for an instant. Before my eyes beheld the beautiful, golden, creature before me. Her face now faced mine. Showing me her features to the fullest. Full sun-kissed lips complimenting her deep eyeshadow.

Her face though relaxed showed an amount of struggle and strain that most people wouldn't have noticed.

I lifted the cloak from around my head instantly, a branch hitting my nose with me answering in a whelp. My nose began to bleed and began to drip down my lip. I ripped a slight piece of my cuff hoping to stop the bleeding from causing anymore damage.

With my thoughts being. It's already ruined, and once something is ruined it can never be the same no matter how hard you try to fix it.

This time I slowly pulled back the cloak wanting to investigate her struggling features. When I reached towards her I carefully unwound the fabric from around her not wanting to startle her.

When I reached her legs I was horrified to find her left leg completely crushed under the tree trunk! My heart and breath increased ten fold. Part of me wanted to faint but I knew that if I didn't do anything fast she would surely perish.

I quickly checked her neck for a pulse...not finding a beat. Bringing my head to her chest there was nothing as well. I was sure we would have missed it and even if we didn't she should have made at least a sound or something to indicate to me that the dang tree had landed on her.

I brought my hands together pressing them against her chest. Counting in my head then brings my lips to her mouth. I've waited for this moment for so long, I didn't dare to hesitate.

I kissed her, fingers instantly going yearning for her hair but finding only air. I opened my eyes seeing her palm? I pulled away and she stood waist up, her terrified expression showing.

She looked like she was on the verge of pushing me away and not? Seeming confused as to what she should do. She began biting the ends of her hair for comfort?

"I know how this looks, you weren't breathing. I was worried that you...uh...thank goodness you're still conscious." She stopped nibbling.

She began speaking in a whisper with it softly getting louder, "Are you talking to me." I went to put my hand on her temple, still fearing for her mental health.

"Yes?" I looked around wanting to see what she was so worried about; finally noticing the damage of the forest around me. I stood up unbelieving, trees tipped over completely or partially submerged in the pond. Small twigs bobbing to and throwing as small insects and animals tried to keep afloat. But even through all the current destruction the vibrate sounds of nature still thrived.

"Are you sure?" She brought me back to fantasy.

"Yes." Feeling her head I was brought more conflict causing me to lose my boldness for a sec. She was hot...really hot. I blushed. I haven't been this close to a woman in so long it almost feels foreign.

"But, what..." she tried to move her leg out of the grip of the tree. There was no pain in her features, just of struggle.

"Don't try to move your foot! It will only cause more damage." Grabbing her shoulders to get her to stop.

She just gave me this look like she didn't understand. I grabbed her hands showing her that I wanted her to stop. She gave a bit of a disgusted face but her features softened slightly as I gave my best 'I mean you no harm' face.

Her shoulder relaxed slightly.

"Alright...good...I'm going to go find some help...ma beauté." I kissed her forehand wanting to keep her charmed. I went to pull away but one of her hands stopped me as the tips of her fingers caught on the cuff of my shirt sleeve.
