chapter 4: presumed dead

                              Ghost

The four of us stood in silence wren going over blueprints for the 50th time and yes I counted. Naomi was snatching this fake diamond off a motion detected stand and failing again and again. It had been three months since I found out about this heist meticulous planning wouldn't describe the amount of attention we've been paying to it. We had paid a janitor to put a tracker on the guards in their outfits so we would know where they are at all times. located all power boxes to shut down the vault sensors thought of every possible solution to the vault code with the number Marcus had which was a 5 which was around 81 which for every wrong code takes about 30 seconds to reboot gave us 40 minutes which is why I would stand guard while Naomi would input the code turns out she's a good thief. Vanessa was going to hack the cameras to loop on end we would sneak into the vault and steal all the money and gold and the pride of the police and this country as a whole. a golden dagger to say I was nervous would be an understatement to be allowed to gamble here you had to be a friend of the owner or a millionaire and even if you got access to the perimeter you were still gonna be under heavy surveillance. I was gonna sneak in when Naomi and wren start a fight from there I blend in as a guard get Naomi disguised knock out the security room to get access to the vault. then we disable the sensors via disabling the power grid in order within a minute before the alarms sound the hard part is there hidden all over the casino. then we sneak into the vault locate the dagger weaken the alarm because disarming it will alarm the police we swap the dagger secure it and empty the vault and evac it sounds easy but it won't if the three idiots fail their part - "we won't mess up"Naomi's voice echoed through the room "huh" "you thought we would mess up but we won't" "how did ya know" "read your face" "scary" I replied to Naomi " do you think this ill be worth it" I asked "don't know but it's up to you" "thought you wouldn't screw up" "I won't but your a pro and will carry us through this" "love the compliment but I dont know if this is gonna work i mean you were a suspect in an investagation" "they found me innocent after me having no gloves on and no murder weapon found and the caliber matched all other ghosts victoms and i had alibis for all of those" "but if this gets robbed there gonna asume its you" "true same with me" wren said jupping into the conversation "wha-at if they thou-ght you two were dead the four of us could facked our deaths" "could work" "ok then i invite you guys over to study at my house a bomb goes off and were thought to be dead but we snuck out before it goes off" wren said "that was fast thinking wren" i quickly said in coplimenting tone "but are the three of you okay with this you wont be able to bail on the criminal lifestyle" "im good with it it'll feel good to work on something with a team and it makes me feel like a badass" wren replied "im good with it to for once im making decisions not what the steriotypes tell me to do" naomi said following wrens reply "you gu-ys are my on-ly friends and im in it with you guys" vanessa said gaining confidence at the end "then how do we get in to the casino we won't have our entrance" "there's a back door we could pay the janitor to let you two in" wren suggested "you really have thought of everything" "the devils in the details right" "so what's thats your codename or something" "no but I do need one ahh what the hell call me devil when were working" "so what about you two" "I dunno maybe diva"naomi responded "prodigy maybe" vanessa said nervously "they sound good" "hey ghost now that I think about you've never told us your real name" said wren "I called you Hoodie guy before I called you ghost" "oh thats because I never knew it so ghost is what I go by as a name so it's ghost nightshade" "oh thats a cool name" naomi said "thanks but its getting late ima head to my apartment" "okay remember tomorrow head to the palace and ill let you in and actually ghost im gonna need your help so you can sleep at the palace" "okay sounds like fun also im definitely gonna steal shit to practice at stealing" "aren't you already a master thief" "nope just a killer" "oh but do you know how to arm a bomb" "yup I've blown up other royal families" "oh" "anyway let's go" we headed to the palace and it was huge wren let us in and as we wounderd around well I wounderd wren new this place like the back of his hand we got to his room and he showed me the convenient little secret exit we just had to sneak by the guards and we were good wren told me to go change which I did while he was moving most of his fund his funds to an anonymous shipping company so we still had most of his money which gave us 15.5 million while he kept 5.5 million to make it look not suspicious and just an investment and I pulled out the bomb he brought because I was searched I then armed the bomb and put a note in a blast proof case to frame his siblings who hate him so there making this way to easy for us.we chatted for awhile and fell asleep as we woke up we were told by the guards to go to breakfast and we told the maids to stay out of his room we were working on something secret which wasn't a lie I asked wren if he's okay if they die and he just replied that everyone in this palace only wants his money and his family hates him as we sat down to eat and saw his mom and dad at the front of the table they looked at me disgusted like because I wasemt rich I wasn't allowed to even look at them "oh wren seems like you brought a trash friend"  said his older sister all cocky like "at least he's known for something" "for being a failure right" "no for being a good person in a family of ass hats" "wren you've made a friend that should shut his mouth" "just like those reporters that dissappear when they say the truth"wren said joining in and finally standing up for himself "enough you two leave now" said the king we stood up and left the palace to go get something to eat "you made a good fight the motives there" "yup just like we planned and also good job speaking up for yourself" "how do you know I've never stood up for myself" "you told me during our projects I listened because your the closest I got to a best friend" "heh I thought we were because you stand up for me your a friend and well your the only dude I got to hang out with" wren said "heh well let's get something to eat and then blow ourselves up right" "hey you forgot rob a casino" "hell yay"

Hours later

Well here we were removing the cover and but expensive stuff down the hole to the secret passage and finally wren and me jumped down meeting with Naomi and Vanessa who jumped down a few minutes ahead of time to put the stuff down we each grabbed two of the 8 objects that were important to wren we all moved our stuff to the warehouse we would figure out the housing situation soon but I guided the three to the exit without being spotted and we got in the secret car we parked wren and Naomi were ducking outside of the windows view and when we arrived we met the dictator who had the news on showing the bomb that went off the four of us were presumed to be dead.
