When Jin turned around, he found Jisoo sleeping on the couch and Yoongi looking at him with a worried face. "You want some coffee?", asked Jin. Yoongi rose up and said,"Jin, it's gonna be morning soon, go to sleep who drinks coffee at dawn?". Jin walked over to Yoongi and ruffled his hair and replied,"I have somewhere to go, I can't sleep". Yoongi asked, "Now?", Jin nodded and said yes. "But where? Should I come with you?". Jin shook his head and replied,"Yoongi-ah it's okay, I am gonna be okay. Don't worry, you should grab some sleep. I will be back later".

Jin took his car and went to Gwacheon where his parents lived. The drive was rather smooth. The cool morning breeze calmed him down and made him feel nostalgic. He recalled the day Jungkook proposed him on a morning like this in the hilltop and unknowingly a tear fell from his eyes, realizing things were never going to be the same anymore.

When Jin reached his parents home, it was late in the morning. His parents used to run a small business in Gwacheon and Jin used to visit time to time to spend time with them. His parents knew about his and Jungkook's relationship, although at first they didn't approve of it but over the years they came to accept Jungkook as their son.

As soon as he entered the house, his parents were surprised, he didn't let them know before that he was coming. They engulfed him in a hug and suddenly Jin's dad asked,"Son,where is Jungkook? He isn't here today?". Jin was still in his mom's embrace, he didn't know what to say, he realized that Jungkook used to visit his parents everytime with him.

Jin had been staying strong since yesterday, but right now he couldn't anymore. He promised that he wasn't gonna cry anymore, but he broke that promise and broke down in his mom's embrace, he sobbed like a child. His parents were dumbfounded. Jin's mom asked,"Jin, baby what's wrong? Did you fight with Jungkook?". Jin's dad added,"That must be it, Jin my son, fighting is very common in every relationship, your mom and I--", "Jungkook left me dad". Jin interrupted his dad from finishing.

His parents exchanged a look and his mom made Jin sit in the couch. His dad sat beside him and tried to pacify him. He asked,"Did he hurt you?". Jin rested his head on his father's shoulder and answered,"No dad I hurt him but I didn't do it intentionally, now he won't listen to me anymore. He said the most nastiest thing one could say over a voice message and broke things up with me".

Jin's dad hugged his son and kept quiet for some time as he let him cry. He broke the silence and spoke out,"I don't know what you did but if Jungkook really loved you, he shouldn't have done that, not before hearing your side. I want you to stop crying okay? My son isn't so weak and vulnerable. Don't let someone break you and dominate your life. If you know that you didn't do anything, then stop living over guilt, stop trying to justify over and over again that you were innocent and waste your energy".

Jin calmed down after speaking to his dad, he wiped his eyes and faced him as he spoke,"Dad, thank you so much, your words helped me a lot realizing that the decision I took wasn't wrong. Dad, truth to be told, I am not doing well, I have been through so much that I feel like a broken vase that is shattered but is now forced to stand again. My world revolved around you, mom and Jungkook, the pain that I feel right now wouldn't go away only if I stay strong, I will have to pretend that I am okay, that I am strong but that won't change the truth that I am dying inside. I feel suffocated,everything reminds me of Jungkook. I am sick and tired of it all, that's why dad I have decided to go back to States and finish my studies there. I have already talked to aunt about it".

Jin's mom spoke out,"But Jin will you be okay without us in there? And which university are you applying in?". Jin replied,"I talked to aunt about it, I am gonna transfer my credits to NYU under scholarship and I own American citizenship by birth so I won't have to pay like an international student". Jin's dad patted his head and replied,"It's okay, you should go, you were raised there, I too think that you will be happier there, plus your aunt is there to take care of you on behalf of us". Jin's mom sighed and asked,"When is your flight?".

"Tonight".

Jungkook's Residence

Jungkook did something he regretted as soon as he was sober after that night. But by that time it was too late. Given Jin didn't reply him, even after reading the texts, he was sure that Jin didn't care of him anymore. Was Jin with Taehyung now? What made Jin choose Taehyung over him? Money? Hundreds of questions ran over his mind.

Jungkook left his job at Taehyung's company and returned to his parents home. Surprisingly, Jungkook's parents were extremely welcoming to him. His dad used to call him often to convince him to come back and he never thought about returning to them until today. He wanted to show Jin, that if money was all he needed he was gonna be more successful than Taehyung and make him regret for leaving him.

Jimin tried to call Jungkook to stop him from resigning numerous times but his number didn't connect because Jungkook tried removing all the traces of Jin from his life, so he threw away his phone that was full of photos of Jin. He had changed his number so that he didn't have to associate with anyone, he wanted to start anew. Because of this, Yoongi couldn't contact Jungkook to tell him the truth.

Taehyung's residence

Taehyung spent an awful amount of time figuring out how Jimin could have spiked their drink. Yoongi told him that Jin's drink was indeed spiked with LSD and Viagra, so he had the proof of them being intoxicated but he didn't know how to prove it that Jimin did it. Suddenly he received a text from Yoongi,

"It's of no use anymore,Jin is leaving for USA tonight".
