☆Work Work Work

7AM monday morning my alarm clock went off, i groaned Ugh "its time for work again." I took a quick shower, ate breakfast and brushed my teeth and went off to work again.
"Well you look horrible." A familiar voice said.
I turned around Paul was standing there.
"Oh well thank you, i am just tired."
"Rough night? or just not a morning person?" He asked
"Both" i answered
He smiled
"I need too talk to John, paul so if you don't mind could you please step aside?"
Paul stepped aside and i entered johns office.
"Ah lizzie great too see you! Enjoyed your weekend?" John greeted me happily
Johns happy greetings made Lizzie for some reason feel warm and welcoming.
"yes i had thank you for asking."
"I wanted too tell ya something, i found a band at the local pub the only problem is that the lead singer just quit after the show last night i gave them my card so if they would find a new lead singer they will call me i hope."
John smiled widely
"Good job lizzie! What is the bands name?"
"Smile." I answered
"I hope they call you soon, but i wanted to talk you anyway, i know you've been very busy but Elthon is going on a small tour with a view shows in west Europe and we need someone whos going with him to get him on time at the shows and everything, could you do that Lizzie?"
Ofcourse lizzie wanted to do this its something else then just going from pub to pub everytime, but she had too ask David first if he would be okey with it.
She called David but he didn't pick up.
He would prob be okey with it right? She thougth
"Okey i am doing it." She said
"Yes!" John beamed at her
"Thank you lizzie!"
"So when is it gonna start?" I asked
"In exactly a month." John said
"Elthon is gonna start in Kopenhagen and ends in Amsterdam, The show is gonna be 5 months long."
"Go take off for today and go prepare yourself."
"Thank you john!"
I walked out of his office Paul was still standing there.
"You heard everything?" I asked Paul
"Yes you're so lucky, see ya tomorrow?"
"No wednesday, see ya paul."
Paul looked at me with a jealous face and i walked off.
I went home too call family and friends, when i came home David was still in bed he was sick so he didn't go to work.
"Hey what are you doing here?" David asked
"John gave me a free day today, i called you but you didn't pick up." I said
"Oh sorry why did you call."
"I am going on Tour with Elthon John in about a month is gonna be for 5 months."
"What where?"
"Europe." I said a bit scared
"And you didn't ask me if i would be okey with it?"
"I was but you didn't pick up the phone and john needed an answer so i said Yes."
"I will call you everyday i promise."
"Ugh Lizzie just don't let me just think about this, could you leave? Thanks."
With tears in her eyes lizzie left their house and went to freddies house her mom and dad are on vacation so she Couldnt go home.
I rang the bell and freddie opened the door
"Hey darling you're okey?" Fred asked me
"Mm no i am not can i come in?"
Freddie let me in i was glad he was alone.
"What is it." He asked
"Well i am going on tour with Elthon John in about a month and i wanted too call david if he was okey with it but he didn't pick up his phone and john needed an answer so i siad yes but now david is pissed."
"Oh Liz i am so sorry for you, but this is your dream job this is what you always wanted and your boyfriend should know that and he should be happy for you, i actually never liked David i don't know if you have ever noticed but we didn't see eachother much after David came into your life i am truly happy for you that you found someone but i kinda lost my only friend."
"Oh Freddie i am so sorry... we are def gonna catch up okey?"
"Absolutly." He said
Freddie gave me a warm hug i hugged him even tighter back.
"Go call your family and friends i am sure they will be very happy and supportive."
Freddie was right everyone was happy and supportive and they all wished me the best! My mom even cried because she was so proud of me. I missed her..
Freddie wanted to tell her something but decided not too cause now it was about her and not him it can wait. She went home after she had dinner with freddie and his family.
She carefully opened the door of their house but David wasnt there he left her a note
•hi Liz i am okey with it you can go i am happy for you i guess? I am staying at a friends home tonight. Have fun with the tour and everything bye.

Tears started to come again, David left he left for who knows how long
Lizzie felt Anger and sadness but the anger was stronger she decided too call David.
He picked up
"David"she said angerily. "Do you think you just could leave me here all alone i need your support, as my boyfriend you should be supportive and happy for me you know this is my dream job and you know i could leave for months if i had the chance but i guess you don't want my dream too come true" tears started down running her face
"Your such a bad boyfriend!
"Oh yea? Maybe you should think about me first before you make a decision!" David yelled from the other side of the phone.
"I did!" Lizzie said "but i guess it was not enough for you, do you think it is easy for me? I will leave everything behind me for 5 months but you know  what the difference is that the people who truly care about me are happy for me and the people who don't and thats only you are mad at me so maybe you should for once think about me and what I want in life."
"Bye Lizzie its over."
And with that David hung up.
Lizzie saw that David already took all his stuff out of the house so he probally wanted too break up with her after all. She couldnt stop crying and layed the whole day in bed her phone rang, lizzie picked up.
"Hello?" She said
"Hi its Brian" "and Roger." She heard on the background. "we are from the band smile we found our new leadsinger."
Lizzie didn't want this right now
"Sorry number is not available." And with that she hung up.
