New Beginnings

September 25

Noah's POV:
Today was the day. The day I would ask Dixie to officially be my girlfriend. I had everything planned out. I would first ask her to hang out like usual but tell her that I would pick her up. I would decorate it with rose petals and candles and I would buy her s'mores because I know they're her favorite. Now came the hardest part, thinking about what I would say when the moment came. I spent hours and hours paving around the room with a price of paper and a pencil in each hand. Nothing came to mind. Time was ticking and closing in. A while passed and when u looked up it was already and hour until we'd meet. Shit. I grabbed everything and drove off. Only Blake knew about my plan. He wished me luck before I left.

Dixies POV:
Noah texted me really early today. I think it was around 7. I knew something was up because he seemed nervous on call and he was a late sleeper i it didn't make sense for him to be up that early. He told me that he was going to pick me up later. I agreed no questions asked. I was determined to find out what was bothering him because I had a feel for him like no other. I needed to know he was okay in order for me to be okay.

Noah's POV:
I was on my way to Dixies apartment nervous as hell. I saw her walk out of the elevator and knew that was my cue. I got out the car hugged her and opened the door for her. Once inside she began asking questions. "What are we doing?" she asked. I kept my eyes on the road. "The usual" I responded. She got quiet so I placed my hand over hers trying to reassure her nothing was wrong. He got to Malibu and I told her to wait in the car while caressing her jaw. "I'll be back". I got the things out of the trunk and walked over to the post. I drizzled the petals making sure there was at least one in every corner. Next was the candles. I placed one in every corner of the post. I grabbed a couple of paper plates that I packed and filled them with s'mores and cookies. I stepped back admiring my work. I took a deep breath before walking back to the car to get my girl. I opened the door grabbed her hand, and helped her out. I held her hand all the way to the tower and helped her up. I got yo myself and began.

"Dixie Jane D'Amelio. Where do I even begin, there is no one out there that made me fall madly in love like you have. I think about you before I fall asleep and immediately when I wake up. You are my reason of being, my reason if joy, I found happiness in you and I know that you are and will be my present, future and afterlife. I love your company and would like for us to be more than just friends. I really want you in my life, I want you to be my girlfriend. I have been thinking a lot about you. Your always in my dreams but I want you to be my reality."

I looked at Dixie and saw her eyes watery. Why was she crying?

"Did i say something wrong?!"

"No everything was perfect, thank you"

She grabbed my color and kissed me I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around me. We made out for a while before we had to catch our breaths. We sat down eating the treats kissing between bites. That night was ours.

Dixies POV:
Noah declared his love for me and asked me to be his girlfriend in the most romantic way possible. This man had my heart. All of it. I knew that Noah really was looking for kong lasting relationship and I was ready to give him my all. The rest of that night was spent kissing, cuddling, talking, and eating. He drove me to my apartment his hand in my thigh the entire way there. He kissed me again.

"I'll see you tomorrow baby"

"What you mean your staying the night I want you here with me."

And with that he parked his car, picked me up bridal style and walked us to my apartment.
