Today's author is someone I feel proud of. Call Me biased, but she is Arab and so am I 😁😁
Many of my readers would always ask me to include her in this book, not knowing that I was already planning on doing so. But, things happened and I never got to do that earlier. And that is something I apologise for.
I honestly couldn't believe that someone who is self taught can be this articulate and has this exquisite taste and choice of words.
A top Kookie all the way author and bottom Tae with a certain physical attribute - shhhh boypussy- 🙈🙈🙈 I mean I'm into it. So, if you're not then stay away you've been warned 😒😒
With small library of four books two of them are a one series and two more books.
My Destiny books are werewolf au with alpha Knight kookie and omega Tae, a royalty au with a historic background as well.
My Saviour is a dystopian post apocalyptic au with zombies and a resident evil flavour.
"Dear One" is the book that got me hooked. I don't know where to begin from. This is an intergalactic au with new planets with their own new species which is a great start on its own.
She gets to create her own set of rules without the need to abide by certain expectations and pre set standards that somehow make some readers think they can bully authors if they choose to not stick to them by heart.
I don't know if any of you has watched the movie "Valerian and the city of a thousand planets" or the movie " The fifth element" both for the French director Luc Besson.
I loved those films for their not very American way in portraying aliens.
I mean they behave like humans and have normal lives just like us. Homes, kids, civilization, bustling market places and guess what, other concerns than being in a spaceship heading towards the USA to annihilate the human race or colonise the planet earth.
In this book I was transported to a house on one of those alien planets, who had their own set of rules. Oh, the house happens to be the Royal Palace of the strongest blood line in the universe.
Kookie holds the world in his hands literally. yet, he is a beautiful sensitive creature. Who for some reason didn't abuse his powers 😂😂 like how he is usually portrayed "ruthless pure blood". That was a breath of fresh air.
Even Tae is another beautifully portrayed character. with his unique sense of fashion that I think many would appreciate.
He is a 3D character with motives, inner conflicts and a strong independent personality unlike the flat characterless weak bottom many like to describe him as.
There's an amazing balance between the solid plot and the creative process behind this new world I got to see for the first times.
There is some mind blowing tentacle play in that book that is neither disgusting nor disturbing but rather intimate and loving.
By the way "Dear One" is a short book with very long chapters (ao3 style I presume) so take your time with it.
Again, when you read her books you wouldn't believe that English is her third self taught language because of the strong command she has on the use of her vocabulary in a very artistic, sometimes poetic ways.
Finally, I really enjoyed her books and hope you get to enjoy them as much as I did.
