*********

"Dad, can we go to Calgary?"
"Why?"
"I want to see Darren."
"No."
"Why not?!"
"Because I said so. Now, shut up."
"URGH!"

I walked to the pool and soaked my foot on the water. I'm just wearing shorts, so nothing would be wet. Maybe except my feet and legs, though. I'm short.

It starts to get haunt me that dad doesn't really like Darren for me. It hurts me see that he removes the glue that sticks I and Darren. He's the scissor who cuts the rubber band that keeps us together. He's the... Argh.

And what's up with Darren and Dylan? I mean, did they already meet before? Why do they know each other? Oh, curiosity haunts me bad. It makes me wonder so hard.

Curiosity kills, Julia,
Now, shut up.

I dipped myself into the pool and sank to the bottom of it. No, I'm not drowning. I'm great in holding my breath. And I get my brain to work better under water. I don't know why.

It wasn't really warm here. Deep here in the bottom. The only thing that wonders me is that Dylan and Darren's weird relationship. I hope it's nothing serious. I hope it's nothing fatal. I don't want one of them to die.

I heard a splash from the other side of the pool. Maybe it's a guest or a customer who checked-in. I saw her. It was a girl. Her hair is red. But I didn't quite see her face. But I bet she's beautiful. She's around my age. I guess.. She also did the same thing I'm doing.

She noticed me, but when she got surprised, she lost breath and went up. I did the same. "Hey, you okay?" I asked, as I went near her. "Hey. Yeah, I'm fine." She answered.

I guess she's a guest in the hotel.

"Aren't you Julia? The daughter of the owner of this hotel?" She said. We're still swimming, take note though. "Yeah." I awkwardly answered. "What's your name?" I asked instead, avoiding the conversation to be awkward.

"Chloe."
"Well, it was nice to meet you, Chloe."
