"Let's go!!" I heard someone yell.
I looked up and saw Von on the edge of my bed playing the game.
I know this nigga did not...
I just sat there staring at him with a blank expression.
"Um...excuse you," I said lowly getting out of my bed. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and hopped in the shower.
I got out of the shower wrapped a towel around me and walked out of the bathroom into the closet.
I figured I wasn't going anywhere today so I just threw on some black sweats and a black hoodie
I walked out and saw Von still playing the game, so I decided that I should mess with him because he woke me up out of my good sleep.
I walked over to where he was and stood in front of the TV with my arms crossed.
"Von?..."
No answer.
"Von?..."
No answer.
I huffed, "Dayvon..." I said.
He finally looked at me, he stared at me with a straight face which caused me to laugh, his facial expression is hilarious.
"I don't get what's so funny," he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Your face and I just wanna know how you going to come in here playing YOUR game in MY room sir" I spoke with my hand on my hip.
He just shrugged his shoulders, I rolled my eyes and went to go lay down on the bed.
I decided to face time Teaira.
It rang, after what felt like a long time it finally said connecting.
"Hey, gir- ouu what's wrong with you? Who I gotta fight?" Teaira said propping her phone up on her vanity.
"Girl, Von came in here with his game while I was sleep and WOKE ME UP!" I said shouting the last part.
All she did was laugh, next thing I knew Von snatched my phone out of my hand.

"Bro give me my phone," I said snatching it back which only made him snatch it again.
"Wassup lil folks" he spoke on the phone holding up gang signs.
"Ew it's you but hey" Teaira spoke rolling her eyes then smiling.
He ended up coming up to where I was at angling the phone so Teaira could see the both of us.
"Yall ugly" Teaira laughed.
"Whatever," we both said at the same time.
There was a knock at the door.
"Come in" I shouted.
The door opened and I saw that it was Leon and Amber.
"Yes?" I looked at them.
"We were wondering if y'all wanted to go to the aquarium with us?" Amber said all happy.
"It's up to him, " I said referring to Von.
"I'm cool with it" Von shrugged.
"Okay we leaving like...in an hour " Amber spoke as they walked out of the room.
"Welp lemme go start getting ready, " I said getting up going to my closet I settled on a red crop top, black leggings, a black jean jacket with my checkered designed vans.

I walked out of the closet and saw Von on his phone.
"Do you like this or should I change?" I did a three-sixty spin.
He eyed me before speaking "yeah you look good" he said still eyeing my outfit.
I just nodded going to do my hair.

*time skip* in the car*
Von and I were currently in the car on our way to the aquarium.
"Von... Do you do the same job as Leon?" I asked looking over at him.
"What does Leon do?" he responded.
"Sell drugs" I twisted my lips.
I know it's weird or rude to ask but why not.
"Imma be honest with you, yes I do the same but I'm not going to be doing it for long, I'm trying out rap," he said shrugging.
"Oh that's good" I nodded.
"Yeah, wassup with you though..." he asked.
"What you mean?" I responded.
"Why you all of a sudden go missing then come back 2 years later?" he asked.
"Well...I was sold..." I said putting my head down.
"Sold? what you mean," he said stopping at a red light and looking at me.
I sighed before telling him what went on. "Well...I might as well tell you some things about me, one day I was coming back home from school and when I walked into the house I saw my dad and three other men, I didn't think any much of it because my dad always had people at the house but mind my dad was a druggie so yeah, so, I didn't say anything to neither of them because one I don't know them and two I never talk to my dad so, he asked me to speak and I said no which he got mad and slapped me." I took a deep breath.
" Long story short he sold me to this pimp named T-bone and I've been his since I was there for actually four years which makes me 17" I spoke with tears in my eyes.
I looked up and saw that we were at the aquarium, I looked at him as he looked at me the same but without the tears, he just sat there like he was thinking about something.
"While at that house I was raped and beat. He took something so important to me, it traumatizes me so much but I guess I just don't show it." I finished now crying.
"Look...stop all of that crying, you are strong girl you know that? I'm here for you E'naija I promise." Von said looking directly at me.
I nodded " I'm here for you too Dayvon, I promise." I spoke wiping my tears.
"Okay let's go, I hate crying in front of people," I said opening the door getting out.
We looked at each other before nodding and walking Into the Aquarium.
