We were now in Emily's room. Emily was at her desk, Ali and Aria were on the bed and I was laying down on the floor.
"Hey, Em?"I said.
"Yeah?"
"What's this?"
"What's what?
"This backpack filled with clothes..."
"Um, nothing, don't worry about it..."She replied panicked.
Aria looked down at the bag, Ali echoed her movement.
"Emily, were you-"Aria said.
"Guys, please"Emily said.
"Em, no secrets."I said
"Okay, fine, but promise not to get mad?"
"Promise"Ali said.
Aria and I both nodded.
"Earlier on today, before Aria called, I was thinking - thinking about Spence."
"Go on"I said.
She carried on"Well, I imagined her out there all alone yet alive. I started packing to go and search."
"And you didn't tell us!" I exclaimed.
"Don't act so surprised, Hanna, you've done things without telling us before" Ali said.
"Like what?"I replied angrily.
"Guys, this isn't the time to prove anyone wrong, Em is trying to tell us something."Aria said calmly.
"Okay, well, don't you think we should go?"Emily asked.
"No, it's a bad idea." Aria exclaimed.
"I'm in" Alison confirmed.
"Me too" I said.
"Come on, Aria."Emily said.
"Fine."
