AT THE END OF QUESTIONING (F/N) was sat in the station with Dewey who had allowed her to process the situation she found herself in, but now knew he had to ask the mandatory questions. Luckily, he made them quick.

"Where were your parents during the attack?" Dewey was finishing up his questions, typing into the computer as he asked them.

"They went to my grandma's house; she had a stroke." (F/N) answered distractedly, staring down at her hands that were placed on her lap.

"Is she okay?!" Dewey rushed out in concern. Tatum's family was close to (F/N)'s, so he had met her grandma once or twice. They weren't close, but he was still a very caring person.

"I don't know Dewey." She sighed, looking up at his wide eyes. "I got attacked before I could get an update."

"Oh..." He nodded with a slightly embarrassed expression, "Right."

Then a random officer came up and handed Dewey a stack of papers, saying something about it being a test of the mask that the culprit was wearing during the attack. Dewey stood up, pushed into his chair, and notified, "I'll be right back (N/N)."

She could only nod in response, the night's events tiring her too much. The girl sunk into the chair with a deep breath. She couldn't believe the night she was having. Is one of her best friends, trying to kill her? It didn't sound real. Tatum touched (F/N)'s arm gently, trying to comfort her. It didn't work but (F/N) still sent the girl an appreciated smile.

The girl couldn't help herself, her gaze drifted up and towards the glass room where Billy was being questioned. She widened her eyes when she found him already looking at her, a blank look in his eyes but his eyebrows were furrowed, out of confusion or anger, she wasn't sure. When their eyes met, she got a shiver. (F/N) quickly turned away, trying to ease the guilt building in her body.

She found Tatum approaching her, and asked, "How much longer?"

"I don't know, but this is taking forever." Tatum groaned, then turned to her brother who was sitting at his desk. "I'll go ask."

(F/N) looked down, ignoring the burning feeling coming from her right. She felt extremely guilty, knowing that she could have been paranoid, that he really could have been there to check up on her.
