I wake up hoping that it was all a dream but it's not and that's the sad reality.
I stand up from my bed and I take my laptop from my study desk.
I go back to bed and lay on my stomach.I feel like I need someone to talk to so I decide to zoom video call Sandra and Jenny.
They both immediately accept my zoom call.
" Hey guys." I wave my hand through the screen they wave back.
Sandra is busy doing her hair and I mentally roll my eyes because that's typical Sandra she is always doing something with her hair.
Jenny though looks like she was still sleeping.
" Hey Jess, how are you baby?" Jenny asks in a sleepy voice.
"Not so good , guys I need your advice and it's a matter of life or death."
" What happened Jess?" Sandra asks putting the hair curler she was using aside.
I immediately tell them what my father told me and how I need to make my decision today. They both look shocked and they say nothing the is awkward silence among us.
" I think you should do it, I know how much you love your father and his health probably matters the most right now." Sandra is the first to break the silence.
" Oh nooo!, Jess I mean your fathers health matters and all but you will be marrying Sebastian, the two of you have a bad history are you ready to deal with him? " Jenny asks a question I am not willing to answer because she already what I'm going to say.
" I am not ready to deal with Sebastian again this year I wanted to cut all ties with him!, but now this has happened and I don't know what do I think the right decision is for me to ju-" I am suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door.
I tell the girls I have to go they were both angry because they wanted to hear what I was going to say but I told them it's probably my father at the door and I had to deal with him first, they understood and we ended the call soon after.
I opened the door and indeed it was my dad with a tray of breakfast.
" Hey Jess hopefully I didn't interrupt you from anything important. " He say still at the door not yet entering my room.
" I was not doing anything important dad you may come in. " He enters and puts the tray of food on my study desk and he sits on the chair besides it , I chose to sit on the bed looking straight at him.
He awkwardly clears his throat before he starts talking.
" Have you however thought about what we talked about yesterday? "
" I have father."
" What's your final desicion? " His voice is a little shaky.
" I've decided that I will marry Sebastian, but on my conditions." I keep a stern face trying to hide any void of emotion.
" I have set up a contract honey you will tell everyone your conditions when we meet up with them later today." My dad smiles at me but I don't smile back you could see the sad look on his face but he tried to hide it. That made my heart sink.
I don't like seeing my father sad but in this situation I wanted to keep everything straight forward with absolutely no feelings attached.
The day went by awfully fast, I did nothing interesting it only consisted of me watching youtube videos and movies on Netflix.
It's 7pm and my father said we will go at eight so I had only an hour to get ready.
I take a quick shower. I decide to wear blue high waist jeans and a plan black crop top ending my look with a black leather mini bag and black peep toe heel.
