Salvatore's Obsession

CHAPTER 4

MIA'S POV:

Today I was going to the funeral with Alessandro, in morning he texted me telling that he will come to pick me up and said he got a job of me.

We both attended the funeral not much people were there, Sofia and Mark were also present there. Before we both left I told Alessandro to wait and in the car and went to meet Sofia.

"Hey sofia". "Hey Mia". "So what have you both planned about the job thing?" I asked them because I knew they both live together and it will be hard for them. "Yeah, Mark has approached some companies of the job and I searched a Cafe they what some employees so if you want to come with me, we both can join there together and by the way who is that guy?
She asked rising a eyebrow at me and by that look I understood what she wanted to ask.

"Nahh, it not like you think, he is just a friend and he help me with a job and nothing else". "Okay okay, so we will take a leave now and Mark has a interview also". "Wish you luck Mark".I said witha smile "Thank you Mia and feel free to contact us if you need any help". "Yaa Mia, be in touch with us and if anything I'm just one call away". Said sofia. "Yeah sure I will so we'll get moving now?"
They nodded and started walking to their car and I went to Alessandro.

As I sit in the car I ask him, "So Sandro, where I we going?". He starts driving and says " I'm taking you to show your work place". "Please tell what is the Job like  what I have to do". "Okay so, it's a Cafe manager job so I'm taking you there". " sure, thank you so much of this job Alessandro".

Soon after 20 minutes the car stops in front of a skyscraper. "Why are we here?". I ask Alessandro and he says "The Cafe of this company is a private Cafe only the people who work in this company can use it and you have to work here" I couldn't believe on my ears and if I work here the payment will get nice and I can pay all the hospital bills. My happiness was beyond the sky.

"Also if you  impress the boss with your baking skills
,he may give you a loan to clear all the hospital bills and take a new apartment". After hearing what he said I was so happy and had said I will bake a chocolate cake of the boss and gift him like who doesn't like chocolate right? "Okay so I'll just talk to the boss and come, till then you visit the Cafe". I just nodded my head and started walking to the Cafe, on the way here he told me that he works here and the owner was his friend. Yesterday he was just talking him and then he asked if he had any job of me and his friend told him to get me here and check this Cafe out.

I reached at the Cafe not much people were there, 2-3 people working on their laptops with their coffee. There was one girl working behind the counter, she looked abot younger then me. As I reached there I talked the girl. "Hey, what's your name?" "I'm Olivia" she witha shy smile. "Hi Olivia, I'm Mia I will be working with you from tomorrow". I said will smile. I could see she was happy to have me with her working.

She didn't have any work so, we took a table and she made some coffee of us. We started talk and she started telling me about her. Olivia a orphan girl and after she turned 18, she got a job here and started living on her own. She I asked about the last Cafe manager she said that, she was always rude with her and she used to serve the boss coffee every day but once she went on her time and sir was bit late so she tried to steal something and was caught and was fired from her job.

As we talked I told her about my life and she also wanted to help but I told her I will take some help from the boss. She worked here of almost 2 years and after saving her salary she bought her new apartment. As she was tell me where her apartment was she invited me over and I accepted it. She told me come over tomorrow of dinner so we decided we will leave from work together and I will stay over her place.

After we finished and coffee, Alessandro came and I left with him. "So did you like the Cafe??"."Like??,I love that Cafe and olivia she is so sweet, she even invited me over her place tomorrow" as I said this which smile on my face, he was just stared at me with a smile."Hey Sandro, what happened?", I said waving my hand in front of his face and he chuckled.

"Nothing it's just that you remind me my sister. She was just like you cheerful, she was the only person who used call me Sandro but she died in a accident. In the house where we used to live was sit on fire. I wasn't home by that time but she was there and I couldn't save her.."

After he finished a tear slipped from his eyes, I could see the pain in his eyes. After that we left some snacks for us. After we had all our food in almost 7, so we decided to go home

I reached home and Alessandro said he will take me to work tomorrow. I went inside and made some dinner of me to eat later and had a shower, slipped in my comfy pajamas. I had my dinner and watched abit t.v, after some time and I my eyelids started getting heavier so I decided to sleep but before I fell in deep slumber I felt someone watching me...
