I woke up, grabbed the mail, and ran to my room. I stooped on a certain letter with a red wax stamp

There is only 1 thing this could be. Who else would send a letter with parchment at this time?

I couldn't believe it. "I got in...I GOT IN" I repeated as I ran around my room and then out, and down the stairs. Remus was on the couch reading a newspaper with what seemed to be his 3rd cup of coffee. "Morning guppy" Remus said as he got up to give me a hug. He wrapped my hands around me. He saw the paper in my hand and looked at me suspiciously "And this is...?" I gave him the paper, still grinning from ear to ear. He looked at the parchment and looked at me, he left his mouth dangling for a moment and hugged me again, tighter this time. It almost seemed he was more excited than I was. He pulled away and looked at me. It went unsaid what he was trying to tell me.

For years Remus had prepared me for this, going to Hogwarts, meeting my twin brother. I always knew Harry was my brother and Harry always knew he had a sister but we had never seen each other in real life. I had seen him in magazines and he had probably seen me in a few albums. But he had never seen each other beyond a piece of paper or screen. I knew only little of what happened the night my parent were killed. Harry was taken to his muggle aunt and uncle, who I had heard very little of, and I was given to Remus, my godfather. By the time I would have seen him with my own two eyes he probably would have been well settled in the magic world.  "I have a little something for you" Remus was on the center table now, pulling out a long wooden box. He turned back to face me, a small smile surfacing as he passed the box to me. I opened it keeping watch on my god-father through the corner of my eye. A wand. I opened the box to reveal a willow wand with a unicorn core. I looked up at him and smiled.

A silly smile spread on my face and I traced against the wand. I instantly felt a connection with it, a spark if I may. It was owned by a powerful wizard or witch and now it was choosing me. I looked up at my and gave him a look of pure joy "I'm not the first to own it ,am I? " he shook his head "It belonged to an old friend of mine" From the look in his eyes, you could tell he missed them and they were quite close. Remus had lost a lot of his friends actually, but this one seemed different from the other when he talked about them. Out of respect I nodded and smiled at him. "Its a beautiful wand. Thank you " He hugged me and let go . I took the wand and ran back upstairs to my room and opened the door to see a paper on the floor similar to the paper the letter was on. It was the list of requirements.

I smiled.I knew exactly where to find these

I used my free time to sit on my bed and think be the only new student in Hogwart's 3rd year. Sure, I would be able to catch on, maybe even be more advanced than the students that had been there since the 1st year. I would be the only one transferring from Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I had friends there but I couldn't put my life in the hands of any of them. They were all just so fake in that school. But eventually, the world thought it'd be time finally went to the school most of our family had gone to. Both my parents had been in Gryffindor and my dad was on the quidditch team and they were both very respected in the school and even good friends with most. But, I could only wonder what would happen when I actually got there. Would I make any friends? I was never actually a social person. And even if I did make friends, could I actually trust them, would they just be with me because of my parents or my brother. A knock on my door broke me out of my train of thought. Remus peeped through the door and signaled if he could come in. I nodded as a response and sat up. He walked in and sat on the corner of my bed "You know um Lia, are you up for another surprise " he asked while revealing the bag he was carrying behind him "Can't seem to get enough of them today. Why not" He gave me the bag and I opened it revealing a black coat and hat. "I'll miss you Fifi" I hugged him I hadn't heard that name in so long, too long in fact. "I'll miss you Remmy, so much" He pulled away and adjusted on his spot "We actually had a plan for when this day came" I looked at him confused. I brow up "We?" "Myself, Molly, and Arthur" I had heard these names before, the Weasleys. The family of Harry's best friend "We thought it would be a good idea if you spent the remaining time till Hogwarts with them. You could get to know the family, you're brother?" I sighed and laid down again. "Sure, why not?" He smiled and got off the bed "Thank you, Ophelia. Most people wouldn't have reacted like you. " He bent down slightly and kissed my forehead before walking out "Oh and you're leaving in two weeks. Can't wait to have you out of the house" I laughed at his words and got comfy on my bed as I felt my eyelids get heavier and heavier as I fell asleep.
