"O-Oh, sorry I was thinking..?" I said, but it came out more like a question.

"No worries! I was wondering if you're the Iridescent from my donos today"

"Oh! Yeah, that was me." I said with a laugh.

"Good to know... Wait, no- I wasn't interested or anything like that! It's just I was wondering cause you were spending a lot of money on donos! You could've spent at least $100 on donos, but why?"

I dozed off to the sound of his voice, missing whatever he was gonna say after. (She is on the Discord app on her phone so she isn't sitting at her PC right now)

Ranboo's POV:

"Good to know... Wait, no- I wasn't interested or anything like that! It's just I was wondering cause you were spending a lot of money on donos! You could've spent at least $100 on donos, but why?"

I waited a few seconds for her to answer before speaking again.

"Iri?" No answer.

"Hey, you th-" I started to say, but stopped once I heard light snoring coming from the other side of the call.

Dang, how tired was she? It was 5 minutes.

I debated wether or not I should end the call. I didn't want her to think I was weird so I ended it, still hearing her light snores as I left the call.

I immediately called Tubbo, and I ranted to him about how I actually asked someone to socialize and committed to it.

"You asked her to what?"

"I asked her to call and clear up a few questions I had."

"I thought you guys called at 4 though? Oh!- Sorry I meant 11."

"Yeah, we did, why do you ask?"

"Well it's 11:07 for you now, you guys talked pretty quickly then."

"Haha... Yeah, about that.."

"What?"

"She fell asleep after 5 minutes" I said, not noticing the light shade of pink that was creeping onto my face.

"That's quite sad, actually."

"I mean, we don't know what she's dealing with in her life. She could be staying up late doing work or she could be tired during the day. She could also have insomnia, or she c-"

"Woah, woah, woah, slow down, you're rambling bud." Tubbo said, cutting me off.

"I- Uhm- I'm sorry I guess I was." This time I could feel my face heating up from the embarrassment of being called out for rambling, and the fact that I was rambling about Iri. She was just some internet girl, why did I feel the need to care so much?

"Ranboo? You there?"

"Huh? Oh sorry Tubbo"

"It's alright. I gotta go now, it's already 4:30"

"Oh, I forgot how late it was for you. Okay, I'll talk to you soon!"

The sound of Tubbo leaving the call filled my headphones.

Sigh.

I changed into some sweats and a t-shirt and climbed into bed.

This is gonna be one heck of a time.
