Chapter 1

Shattered had tried everything as dream to mend the bond with his brother more than anything  he wanted nightmare to love him. He thought that if he was just like his brother maybe he would love him so he ate the black and he became shattered dream even after becoming corrupted Nightmare still didn't love him constantly tries to get him to turn back wanting nothing to do with him no matter what he did he couldn't please him shattered grew to be depressed so one day he decided to go to outertale he stared at the stars crying no one had ever cared for him Blue had betrayed them for Nightmare's gang working as a spy despite knowing how depressed dream was he still told his brother all his secrets blue and Ink was soulless and was using him to feel happy he truly had no one so with great sadness he jumped into the void hopefully so he would die it felt like he had been falling for hours before he felt an immense pain inside him causing him to pass out. When shattered woke up in a alleyway he felt sad he thought that his suicide attempt had failed  and he wandered into a bar. Shattered had no idea that he was in another multiverse he also didn't know that he was in empireverse nor that he was in the moon kingdom. He had about 20 shots of hardcore whiskey so he was wasted that's when everything went fuzzy. Nightmare had come to the bar in disguise as of course the king of the moon empire couldn't freely walk around without his subjects surrounding him sometimes it was hard being king with all of his responsibility's which is why he often comes to this bar he drinks his problems away and then sleeps here and then goes back to the castle his court had been trying to get him to pick a queen but no one had ever interested him enough to take them to bed no matter how drunk he gets he has never slept with someone. When he came to the bar he was surprised to see a skeleton with goop on them never before had the king found someone like him though his goop had a yellow or gold kind of tone to it then the stranger who was clearly dunk and crying looked his way and he was stunned by the one golden eye light he was beautiful. Nightmare decided to talk to the stranger he learned that his name was shattered he told him that his friend betrayed him and were only using him and that his brother had refused to love no matter how hard he had tried to please him Shattered never named any of the people he was talking about even when I asked he avoided the question he told nightmare he tried to kill himself out of grief hoping that if he had died that they would be happy. Nightmare growled at this he couldn't believe that they had hurt shattered he was such a sweetheart shattered seemed to blame himself shattered told him he woke up in an alleyway and came here to drink his problems away. As they talked more Nightmare got more and more drunk. He invited shattered to bed with him everything went fuzzy after that and Nightmare blacked out when he woke up in the morning he smiled happily at shattered who was laying in the bed with him he gave shattered a kiss on the skull. "I have to head back but I will be sending my most trusted to come get you my sweet beautiful queen." Nightmare said and he slid his disguise on on headed back to the kingdom. When shattered woke up he didn't remember last night he quickly grew panicked when he saw his female ectobody and inside his womb was a tiny black soul with a blue tint that faded to gold at the bottom of the soul. Who is the father just who did he have a one night stand with? Shattered put on his clothes and left the inn that was connected to the bar he eventually found a house that was for sale it had two bedrooms a living room a kitchen and a bathroom it was perfect for him and his expecting baby he had nine months before he gave birth so it was perfect he bought the house it was getting late so he went to his bedroom and laid down in the bed he held his stomach. "While you weren't planed or expected I plan to keep you and take good care of you my precious baby." Shattered said with a smile he would do this alone little did shattered know that the father would never leave him alone or let him feel alone again he was going to smother shattered with love especially when he finds out that his beautiful kind queen was carrying his baby but that will all come in due time. Shattered let his sockets slide shut as he peacefully slipped into slumber with a happy smile on his face and a hand on his womb as he felt his baby's soul pulse in happiness he finally let himself drift into sleep.
