The past days before had been horrible. Now, I was walking through the halls as a girl waved her arm around running toward me screaming, "Tiffany!" as she held a container in her hands. I looked around nervously hoping she was running toward her friend. Nope, she stops in front of me. Dammit! She begins with "Hi, I'm Ariel! So, I noticed you sit alone most of the time.." Ugh. Not another girl trying to start shit. All of a sudden she reaches into her container, and hands me a cupcake. Taking the cupcake I smile thankfully as she carries on and says, "If you want you can come sit with me today." Ah, relief.
Reaching the lunchroom, I look around now noticing how packed and noisy it actually is without my earphones in. Usually I sit alone, blaring my music, and eat my lunch never speaking to anyone unless I need to. Today is different though, and there she is waiting for me. Wow, maybe I actually have a friend.
