Grand Opening! - Chapter 1

A/N: Hello :) some of you might know this book from YouTube where I wrote a story and people wanted a Wattpad so here ya go! Let's start this story. Also I will be using their online names instead of their real names. Example, instead of Zak it's Skeppy :]

"Congratulations Y/N, you've opened your first store!" My friend, Bad, yelled through the phone.

I smiled ear to ear, I've wanted this for years. Maybe even a decade. "I know, this is so exciting! I can't wait till I get my first customer!" I said walking around the store making sure everything is in order.

"I'm so proud of you! You've wanted this for like, 6 years?" Bad said in excitement, maybe even more as me. "Six and a half years and thank you! You were always with me when I thought I wasn't going to make it"  I said walking around and making sure the Artic Monkeys vinyls are all together.

"Well you are my best friend!" He said while his dog, Lucy was barking as a background noise. "Even Rat is happy for you!" He beamed. I could hear his phone moving, maybe grabbing rat.

"Oh I miss Rat, I can't wait till I see you again. It's been months." I think he could hear the poorly hidden sadness. "Hey it's alright, say I'll let Rat sleep with you once you visit alright? Don't get so sad on me you muffinhead, it's your opening day!" I swear this man is so nice, how did he become so amazing?

"Thanks bad, you always know how to make me look on the bright side." I replied, feeling more better due to his kind words. "Anyways, I have to go, bye my favorite muffin!" I smiled at the nickname for me "Bye sweets!" "I TOLD YOU TO STOP-" I pushed the hang up button before he could talk anymore.

I stuffed my phone in my back pocket, while going towards the counter. I put on my hoodie, making sure it has my logo on it. The logos a small vinyl, with a muffin as the vinyl picture (inspired by Bad) with a small saying going underneath it saying 'Screw Live, Laugh, Love. It's Music, Merch, Love' (A/N, I know it sucks but just go with it please :'D)

I know it might get some Kar- Moms mad but it's worth it. I sit on my stool waiting for customers. I know I might not get some today, considering I just opened but I can try. I feel my phone vibrate, signalling I have a notification. I pull out my phone at turn it on.

I look at the home screen, it's me and bad in a shopping cart. That photo holds so many good memories, it's from I last saw him. I remember me begging him to get in so I could drive him around. He didn't want to since he thought it was, quote on quote, "Illegal to go into a shopping cart"

We only did it because it was 2 AM and we went to a nearby 7-11. He got chocolate muffins, I got 2 monsters and a pack of Sweet Tart ropes. I gave him one of my favorites monster, F/F. I think he liked it, except he wanted to stick with coffee. Once we all ready to go, we found a shopping cart and I wanted to take pictures with him, after 10 minutes of begging he agreed.

I smiled at the picture, then start unlocking my phone, only to find out Bad went live on Youtube. It is Saturday, that's probably why he has to go. I click on the notification, it bringing me to the live to where he was yelling about.. corn? Why was he yelling about corn?

I type in my $10 dono, saying "Corns good, how dare you bash it, get canceled jk" I waited for it to pop up on his screen, sometimes glancing at the door wondering if a customer is going to come in. I lose myself in thought, what if no one comes in? What if no one loves music as much as I do? What if the store doesn't fit their standards? What if-

"Corns good, how dare you bash it, get canceled jk. Y/U/N! I'M NOT SAYING CORN IS BAD, I'M SAYING ITS OKAY, YOU MUFFINHEAD!" I snap out of my thoughts and stare at the screen, it has his minecraft character zoomed in while he's punching the air.
