Louis' POV

The water sprayed harshly against my tense back but the heat seemed to relax me. A body wash with a manly sent was rubbed into my plain, smooth skin. Soap was lathered up in my hands before I ran my fingers and palms through my wet hair. It was around six am at the moment, church was today so it was an early morning for my family and myself. This was my daily routine on a Sunday; get washed, do teeth and hair then dressed. It's always been this way. The temperature was high to where it nearly burned my skin but I enjoyed it like that. My shower was the only relaxing and peaceful time I got to myself during this day that was dedicated to Christ. Everything was so busy and chaotic since my family had to actually prepare the service then we had to go through pretty much the whole town's population with greetings. My blue optics watched the soapy water flow down the drain before my hair was all rinsed out and I was shutting off the water.

The white fluffy towel was wrapped around my waist as I headed towards the sink to brush my teeth and wash my face. My reflection was the same as it was everyday except now that I was getting older, a very faint sprinkle of stubble was growing on my jaw and chin but it was so light that you could barely see it. Once I'd finished up in the bathroom I walked out of the steamy bathroom to my bedroom. My room was a reasonable size, not as big as my sisters but that was simply because they shared. At least I got one average sized room all to myself.

The sun was just rising, illuminating the pink and orange sky. One of the perks of living in the middle of nowhere in a little town was that instead of waking up to traffic and beeping horns, you wake up to chirping birds and a light breeze against the trees. I've lived in this small town for my whole life so maybe waking up to noisy cars and building sites didn't sound so bad.

After drying off I started to get dressed, slipping on a pair of navy boxers first which were followed by a pair of cream dress pants and a pale blue button up. On Sundays my parents raised me to always wear clothing like this; they promised me it was smart and very 'in'. In my free time I got to choose my own clothing which was usually a pair of black jeans and a button up or a plain shirt. I haven't exactly been around many kids my age except from the church kids who basically wore the same as I.

Once my hair was dried and styled, I put on my matching tie and my brown dress shoes. Since today was sunny and warm I decided to leave my jacket off and just attend church like this. My father was most likely already there so it was just the females and myself in the house at the moment. Just as I stepped out my room my younger sister Charlotte rushed past me, her elbow hitting my arm and nudging me to the side.

"Woah! Lottie what on eart-" I didn't get the chance to finish.

"Sorry Lou!" She called before disappearing into the bathroom with a toiletry bag and a hairbrush in her hand. I shook my head in amusement before shutting my door and going down the stairs to where my mother was preparing breakfast for her five kids. My youngest sisters, Daisy and Phoebe, were already sat at the dinner table playing with their barbies while waiting for their bacon and eggs.

"Good morning, mum." I pecked her cheek before reaching for a slice of toast and opening up the fridge. My eyes scanned the stocked fridge before they landed on what I was searching for. Taking a large bite from my toast, i took out a jug of fresh orange juice. I poured myself and Lottie a glass of the thick orange liquid and placed them on the table across from the twins. The smell of bacon and eggs along with slightly burnt toast filled the air.
