There I stood holding a gat in my palms. Aimed towards the one who I once called, 'Baby.'
"Baby."
"Baby, wake up."
"Huh? What?", I yawned.
"Get up. Daisy gotta go to schoo.", He replied laying by my side.
I hoped to my feet and fled to my daughter's room.
Combed her hair, brushed her teeth, got her made.
"Babe! I had the weirdest dream~", I shared as I was making some quick sausage corn dogs.
"Again?", Kenny sighed.
"Yes.",I exclaimed bucking my eyes nodding.
"The same one?", He questioned.
"Kenny, yes~!", I said with a butter-knife in my fist.
"Damn."
We were now in the kitchen of course. Daisy at the barstool and my man in the 🖤 beanbag.
"You look good in them thangs girl~" , he smacked my ass and pulled me close.
"Stop that! I said...stop!"
Daisy never liked PDA. Anywhere. At all.
"Oh sorry, mama! You look pretty with ya puffs and little backpack.", Kenny giggled with Daisy.
After the bus left within the bright morning, I asked Kenny,
"You don't think he'll find me again...do you?"
