The smell of fresh paint engraved me. Scribbles of pen and clipboard paper filled me. I was at the Phyciatris' Office.

"I'm glad you decided to come in Miss Ribbinall."

I shook hands with my doctor and we went to work.
...

"...and we would always argue about useless things. -Like where the towels were. He'd claim I'd be sneaking them to another guy's house to take showers. But I would have to put them in the washer. Shaun cursed me for stuttering or asking him too many questions. I'd only be asking him about his family and work."

"Why do you think he would curse you when you stuttered?" Mrs. Lauren with hints of concern and confusion.

" He was cheating?" She added shaking her head.

I nodded back.

"Yea it can be like that sometimes. But you didn't need that energy around you anyways that was toxic and I'm glad your out of that now."

"Not just that...", I decided to add.

"-He was going to go fuck with the bitch, handing her MY money...wanting me to pay everything in that ratchet house!"

...

I glanced at the fish tank in Mrs. Laurens office wondering, 'How do they not go insane in that thing?'

Looking back to my Mrs. Lauren I shared my feelings of vulnerability.

" It's like being in a box. No where to go. No. One to talk to. And there's something. More out there. You don't see it, but you can feel it. But you forever stuck in that box."

Mrs. Lauren nodded with a smiling gesture.

" A'Rina it sounds like your referring to your mindset. And that box can be our comfort zone sometimes. But time heals all things. All things. So what I would like for you to do is give yourself some time. To rest, eat, and positive social interaction. Like your new boyfriend Kenny and your daughter. Get outside..."

*Blah blah blah*

I crossed my arms and that was the end of my session.
