Art Tanner stood there on the balcony a left hand resting on the railing casually. He stood there ramrod straight overlooking the large sitting room below him. Art's full name was Artemus Roosevelt Tanner which even in his youth was quite a mouthful too say even for the most articulate. Throughout his time in college, every professor would com to his name and throw it out to the class for all to hear. Art could remember with minute detail how each time that happened he would shrink into his chair trying to be as invisible to the class as was humanly ever possible.
One would think Artimus would have had a tad bit easier life being one of three sons to the largest textile tycoons in London proper. Art had heard plenty of people use the phrase silver spoon in ones mouthl but he found that wasn't always where he found this supposed spoon silver was placed where he was concerned. His other two brothers Wilford Alex Tanner the oldest and Gifford Bartholomew Tanner were happy to place this supposed silver spoon in the most uncomfortable places they could find in young Arts physical psyche.  Willy and Giff were the most horrid of brothers too young Artimus. They made it their collective mission to torment young Art too within an inch of his life.        As Wilford surpassed his twenty-first birthday their father Cornel Tanner made Willy a vice president of the family textile empire. Gifford on the other hand surprising one and all too actually shun their Father's wishes to go into the Royal Navy. It was the only time in his young life that Art ever respected either of his two other siblings.
