A hard question I need to ask myself,
One that not everyone needs to ask themselves.
A question that tells who you really are,
With an answer that seems really far.A question to determine your entire life,
With an answer to the question 'will I have a wife'.
It's a test and a question that not many people ask,
And one that even fewer people pass.It starts with 'am I this, am I that',
It's like your mind is practicing combat.
It always includes 'who, what, and why',
And one of the steps is always to deny. Then after that you start to think 'maybe',
And for the next few weeks you think about it daily.
A question that was always in the back of your mind.
And now you know it's there so you want it defined.A question you ask again and again,
Then you get it and think it's the end.
But over and over you ask the same questions,
Almost like you've learned but can't process the lesson. The lifetime question that never goes away,
The answer that will come to you one day,
And the feeling that always seems to want to play.
