the prison visit (a Short Story)

George walked up to the prison and pressed the button. Sams voice came over the speaker. "Hello?" Sam asks. "Hello, its george im here to visit dream," george said. No emotion. Just words. "Alright. Let me alert the prisoner he has a visiter and then I'll be right out," sam said. It goes quiet for a second.

Sam walks through the portal."hello george, long time no see". Sam said giving the best smile he could though the gas mask. All george gives is a small nod. Sam starts to feel awkward. "O-ok, step on through the Portal" sam said motioning toward the portal.

George walks though the portal. sam follow after george and goes around to the desk. "Ok have you ever visited the prison". George shakes his head. "OK what is you relationship with the prisoner". George thinks for a second before saying "friends, just friends". Is all george says. . . .

They go through all the procedures until george is standing infront of the cell on the platform waiting for the lava to fall. Once the lava falls sam sighed before saying "Ok. Remember to walk with the platform" sam says as he flips the lever that activate the platform.

On the otherside of the lava barrier. Sam watched as dreams eye lighten and then soften. Dream was like a dog waiting to see there owner. But it wasn't going to be a happy little talk it was going to be a short. Sad. Heart breaking visit.

George walk'd with the platform. Once he stepped into the cell and the lava dropped down and barrier dropped. Dream ran to hug George but was immediately stopped by george who pushed dream away. Dream went to speak but was cut off bye George "dont. Save it".

Dream gave a confused look.

"What the fuck" George said giving dream a dirty look. "To a fucking child. A child. You did all of that to a damn child" george said with a angry tone. "We are done. And don't say a word" George said tearing the necklace dream had made him a few years back and taking of the promise ring. "Go fuck yourself" george said before calling to sam.

When sam lower'd the lava and sent the platform to george. All dreams face said was 'what the fuck'.

When the lava lowered again. Dream had finally realized what the hell just happened. Tears welded up in his eyes. His chest hurt. He felt as if his whole world just fucking crumbled. Dream lean'd against the wall allowing himself to slide to the floor. He pulled his knees to his chest. He let the tears fall

On the way out of the prison sam looked at george and gave a apologetic look. George brushed it off. "Alright through the portal and then you can be on your way" George nodded and walked thought the portal.
