Every stroke she makes reminds her of every memory she made with someone who was once her world.
"And who's that man who made you drawn into your own world again?"
She was brought back to her senses when the pencil lead broke.
"Oh, what did you just say? Sorry, I was to-"
"No, it's okay."
The room was filled with laughter.
"You know, you should have been a full-time artist instead."
That phrase, again, brought back memories she wish didn't not exist but also thinks about it from time to time.
What change could it bring if J decided to follow my dreams and you, instead of letting my past haunt me?
She thought to herself .
The sound of her fingers pressing against the keyboard was once again heard in a quiet room.
She continued encoding her students' grades with the thought of wanting to go home early.
After a few minutes, she was drawn back into her own world.
She wondered how Jack was doing. Is he already married, or is still struggling to eat spicy food? Or is he still the same person she met years ago.
I should probably stop thinking about him if I want to go home early. I still have 2 classes to attend.
The clock ran fast, the bell rang, and the kids were racing to leave the school.
But her mind was still, and her walk was slower than a turtle.
It has been bothering her ever since she was reminded of him.
Does it mean that she still hasn't moved on from her past? Or she just miss how she lived her life before?
Questions were running on her mind. How she wished it could stop, but it refused.
From the moment she unconsciously drew him to the moment she was lying on her bed to rest, she just couldn't stop thinking about him, and how they ended as strangers.
She was looking at the ceiling, hoping that they still have the same connection they did when they were both in love with the concept of the world being a paradise.
Akila was so into it that she didn't even noticed she had close her eyes.
