Chapter 3: Something more

It spend a week after Gundham gave that book to Taka and he was halfway through the book and learned a couple of very interesting things

Apparently according to the legend the werewolf would be a human being condemned by a curse, or already from birth, to turn into a ferocious beast at each full moon.

And that the form most often told is that of the wolf, but in certain cultures the bear, the ox or the wild cat prevail.
So it looks like you are a couple of werewolf type beasts.

And the werewolf can transmit they condition to another human being through a bite, the same case that happened to Mondo when he was a child.
And some believe that by killing the wolf before the first transformation, or that it has already been transformed, the curse can be canceled with silver weapons.

But Taka had no intention of using this method, not if he meant killing Mondo, so he wants to find another way to help him.

~ that evening ~

Taka was continuing to read the book in his dorm when he heard someone knock on his door

Taka: "I'm coming!" He says mind closes the book he was reading and places it on his he desk

When he opens the door he finds himself in front of Mondo in the form of a werewolf

Mondo: "hey Taka"

Taka: "Mondo what are you doing!"  He takes him by the arm and goes inside before someone sees him "are you crazy? Someone could see you!"

Mondo: "you worry too much, by now I have become good at hiding when I am in this form, so it is impossible that someone has see me"

Taka: "You should still more carful" he says with a serious look

Mondo: "ok ok" he chuckles a bit "I just wanted to see you, you know, now you are almost always locked in here and I hardly ever see you"

Taka: "oh right, sorry for that, but this week I was so busy studying something that I lost the passage of time"

Mondo: "if that so it's fine, I wanted to make sure you weren't avoiding me"

Taka: "huh? Why on earth should I avoid you?"

Mondo: "ya know, for.... this" indicates his werewolf form

Taka: "Mondo, you know I could never avoid you" smiles sweetly at him

Mondo: "heh, yeah I know"

Taka kisses Mondo on his cheek making him smile slightly

Mondo: "but now I'm curious, what is this thing that you were so taken up with so study?"

Taka: "I'm glad you ask!"  He goes to his desk and takes the book "I was studying this book of werewolves"

Mondo: "wait, book about werewolves? I thought they didn't exist"

Taka: "Indeed it is, but this was written by Gundham's grandfather who was a werewolf hunter, and wrote some very interesting things"
