Ch.5:Meeting Simon Cowell

Skylar's POV

8AM THE NEXT MORNING

      I am dreaming of being on stage singing with the boys and Lauren, when suddenly an annoying beeping sound invades my dream. I open my eyes to see that it is 8:09. I need to get Lauren up so we can get ready to meet Simon.

      As I walk in her room I notice her bed is already made and she isn't here. Where on earth would she be at 8 in the morning. She isn't even a morning person, she loves sleep to much.

"Lauren!" I shout through out the house searching every room in our small one-story. No answer.

       Since she is obviously not here i decide to call her because she thought it'd be nice to leave so early in the damn morning to go who knows where!

*beep, beep, beep*

"What the" my phone stars beeping signaling I have a text. Weird?

from Lauren:

-Hey im guessing ur awake and looking 4 me. well i woke @ 7:30 to get ready, i @ starbucks getting breakfast so u can just worry about getting ready! love ya, c u in a bit!<3

      She is the only girl I know who texts like that. Weirdo. After I answer her I let out a deep sigh happy nothing happened to her, realization hitting me. I head to my room and straight to my dresser.

"hmmm...what to wear?" I ask aloud as if anyone can hear me.

       After searching for the perfect outfit, I decide to go casual but with some fancy touch ups. I pull out my blak and white stripped(t-shirt material)vest thing, my black lace tank and washed skinney jeans. I then head over to my bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.

Louis' POV

     I wake up suddenly thinking about today's event. Skylar and Lauren are meeting Simon and putting  on a live performance. Sky's never been good at those.I glance at my clock to see the time. 8:15, thats normal.

"urgh" I groan as i get up leaving the comfort of my beloved bed. Maybe Liams awake, he usually is around the same time as me. i'll go over to his flat and check. Besides, there is NO way I'm staying here alone unti Simon or Skylar tell me and the boys that they made it.

Lauren's POV

     After texting Skylar, I grab out drinks and my muffin then head out only to see that it's raining, I run to my car and start the ingine as my radio starts up to I freeze when I hear what's on.

'Anoucer'

"Today Simon Cowell is supposedly meeting with two girls after wtching a video of them singing o cover of Miracle. Do we have a new band on their way to fame? Tune in at 12 noon to find out!"

"Oh. My.Gosh." I say aloud shocked. As I drive home the anoucer's words repeat in my mind. "A new band on their way"

Harry's POV

      It's already only 8:14 am and I've been up since 7:43 just staring at my plain white, boring ceiling. I'm sure why I'm up, ask anyone I usually sleep till at least noon. The only thing thats been on my mind is that band One Way. It's like there's nothing more important right now. LI should be worrying about what to do with the boys till we find out if the girls are going on a 2 month tour with us.

       After thinking and staring at the ceiling for about 10 more minutes I decide to go to Lou's, he should be awake. Maybe he can help me get these girls outta my mind. I pull on some clothes and exit my flat heading to Louis'.  I see a him leaving his flat and jog to catch up to him.

"Hey Lou, where are you going?" It is raining and he is going on a walk, there must be something wrong with him.

"You're awake?" He asks bewlldered.

"Yup, I dont know why so don't ask."

"Ok well I was heading to Liam's to see if he's awake, You coming?" He asks less in shock now.

"Sure," to bad that means I can't tell him what's been on my mind.

Skylar's POV

       After my shower, I get dressed and apply mascara, eye liner and foundation I'm one of those girls that doesn't need or like to wear a lot of make-up. I then leave my room and head to our livingroom, seeing Lauren's keys on the coffee table I call out her name.

"Lauren?" I ask guessing she is in the kitchen but staying where I stood.

"Ya?" She says walking out of the kitchen, Knew it!

"what's up?"

"It's raining and you have a wonderful Mocha waithing for you in there." she says pointing to the kitchen with a smirk.

"Mocha!" l shout running in the kitchen to retrieve my beloved drink.

       Once I finish my drink, I go back to my room to brush my teeth while Lauren finishes her muffin then does the same. By the time we are both ready it is 9:35 and we really need to leave. We exit the flat and hop in my car. I start the ingine as the radio comes on and we drive to syco in silence, well other than the radio. When we finally arive we have to run in because it's raining. Any other day I would just play in it but today was important.

"Hi, I'm Skylar and we are here to see Simon Cowell?" I ask not sure of what to say as we aproach to front desk.

Just as I say that simon pops out of nowhere. " Skylar, Lauren, please follow  me." He says.

        We enter a recording studio as he sits in a chair in front of all the controls. He motions for us to go in th recoding roombhind the mikes. We Do as motioned. I grab a guitar on the way in as does Lauren. We start playing and singing This Kiss by Carly Rae Jepsen. When we're done with the song i look at Simon to see his reaction. He had a huge smile, almost as wide as the Chesire Cat but I only know one lad with that big of a smile. Thats another story though.

"Splened job girls!" The says from the other side of the glass.

"Thank you!"We reply in sync.

"Come, we have much to discuss."

2 Hours later

       As I pull up to Louis' driveway I notice him, Harry, Liam, and Niall. walking to his flat, I hop out of my car running up to hug him. My impact knocked him over even though I was only 5"5'

"Skylar, what are you doing here?"

"What do you think! We got the contract!" I scream as Louis pulls me back into his embrace and then doing the same to Lauren. Harry suddenly clears his throat. We turn to see 3 extremely confused boys and a sleepy and lost looking Zayn.

"is there something you would like to share Louis?" Liam asks accusingly.

"Actually yes, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. Simon just wouldn't allow it." Louis says sounding guilty.

"It was my idea, don't be mad at Louis for a secret I asked him to keep." I say defending my brother.

"Would someone please explain what the hell is going on!" Zayn shouts clearly frustrated.

"Skylar's my sister, not a childhood friend."

"Oh" Each of the boys course.

How could you hide that from us Lou? From me?" Harry says nearly at the verge of tears. He walks away and disappears into his flat. As do the rest of the boys.

Louis looks down at the ground still standing in the rain with Lauren and I. "I'm sorry" He whispers.

Ok a little harsh, huh? Poor Louis was trying to do the right thing and the boys just think about them not what it ment for Skylar or for Louis. Anyways, Who likes rain? I thought I should put some weather in the story, and its raining here so. Hope you are ejoying the story!
