Traitor

Chapter 2

Things stayed the same for the most part, Midoriya kept on working by himself and stopped asking people to partner up with him. Midoriya became his middle school self and that just led people to really start believing Midoriya might be the traitor.

Midoriya woke up, got ready, and got a granola bar waiting to walk to school with Todoroki. When he saw Todoroki, he went out the door with said boy following close behind him. They both sat at their seats and students rushed in.

Midoriya realized that he might've dropped his pencil somewhere during one of his classes since he didn't have it, with that being said he tried to go up to Jirou to ask for a pencil, and apparently it seemed like he was trying to sneak up on Jirou since Yaoyorozu yelled at him.

"Don't touch her!" She yelled after he tried to tap Jirou's shoulder.

Everyone looked at Midoriya and to say that he was embarrassed was an understatement. Especially since Yaoyorozu pulled Jirou towards her and wouldn't let go of her.

"O-oh I'm sorry, I was just trying t-to ask for a pencil" Midoriya muttered, Jirou looked at him and felt extremely bad but as she tried to tell Midoriya it was fine Yaoyorozu spoke before her.

"Ask a teacher and please don't sneak up on her like that again" Midoriya had a shocked look on his face and Jirou wasn't even done processing her words.

"R-Right sorry" and with that Midoriya walked away to his desk deciding to write with his pen.

Jirou turned around to look at her girlfriend and she had a prideful look on her face.

"I can't believe you," Jirou told her.

"He is believed to be the traitor, so of course I'm going to be wary of him" Yaoyorozu spoke with confidence.

"Right," Jirou took her bag that was next to Yaoyorozu's desk and walked away to sit with Midoriya.

She had a horrified look and realized that Midoriya was even trying to break relationships... She couldn't let it happen so she went to tell Uraraka, and after she told her Uraraka made sure to keep an eye on Midoriya.

Yaoyorozu sat at her usual lunch table, and when she saw Jirou she moved her bag from the chair next to her so she would sit with her but when she looked up Jirou walked past her and sat with Midoriya.

Turns out most people didn't sit at their usual table and sat with Midoriya which irked most people.

"Yaoyorozu, calm down" Mina tried to get her to not do something she would regret.

"You don't get it! You don't have your girlfriend sitting with that stupid traitor!" and with that, she got up and went up to Midoriya.

"Hey, there traitor," Yaoyorozu told Midoriya with a smile.

Midoriya gave her a confused look.

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean Yaoyorozu"

"Well you know you're giving the villains your analysis notebooks about us and other pro heroes," Midoriya paled at that and Bakugou looked ready to commit murder. Everyone turned around and looked at Midoriya since they overheard the conversation.

"What the hell is wrong with you Yaoyorozu?!" Jirou yelled at her girlfriend and Yaoyorozu's heart dropped at how Jirou had called her by her last name but soon snapped out of it when she saw most of the class back her up.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?! You're all hanging out with him when there's evidence that he might be the traitor!" Kirishima yelled back.

Midoriya looked down at his lap since he couldn't believe it, they're really sure I'm the traitor huh?

"If you guys have a problem with Midoriya then just stay away from him it's not hard," Todoroki replied, his usual monotone gone.

"I would leave him alone but it's kinda hard when my girlfriend keeps going back to him" Yaoyorozu pointed out.

"And you really think this is how I'm gonna stop hanging out with Midoriya?" Jirou scoffed at her antics and Yaoyorozu's eyes started to water.

"You all need to leave us alone and figure out yourselves we don't care," Shinsou told the crowd of students.

"Why is it so hard for you guys to come with us? especially you Todoroki... We were supposed to be friends but you left us for the traitor that doesn't even love you bac-" Todoroki immediately froze the floor and made it slippery so everyone would leave them alone.

"Those are really persis...tent..." Todoroki turned around to see that Midoriya's eyes were watering.

"D-do they really think I-I'm the traitor?" Everyone turned to look at Midoriya and felt their hearts break.

"It doesn't matter what they think Midoriya, all of us in here know that you would never do that to us, and I want to apologize because I did think you might be at the beginning," Kaminari told him with an apologetic smile.

"I-It's okay... Thank you guys for being my friends" Midoriya smiled brightly at them, something that he hadn't done in a while.

"Alright... Group hug!!" Jirou yelled and they all hugged each other.

"Don't worry we'll be here for you shitty nerd" Bakugou tried to give Midoriya a reassuring smile.

"Bakubabe smiled!??!"

"Shut up dunce face!"

After that Todoroki got rid of the ice floor and they all proceeded to have a normal lunch. Things are really looking up, Midoriya thought to himself.

Oh, how wrong he was...

"Midoriya you need to go to Nezu's office," Aizawa told Midoriya after he answered the school phone he had in his office.

Midoriya gave him an okay and went to Nezu's office.

"See he's going to get interrogated and when we're right don't even try to apologize" Yaoyorozu huffed.

"Babe, get over it I already apologized while you didn't" Jirou rolled her eyes at how childish she was being.

"You're right, I'm sorry and if Midoriya is innocent we'll apologize we promise," Yaoyorozu said while most of the class agreed.

"Yeah, that's not gonna make it better," Todoroki said clicking his tongue.

"He's right, most of you guys treated him pretty badly it won't go back to being normal that easily" Kaminari agreed.

"Okay class let's stop talking and keep on going with the lesson"

"Mr. Nezu I heard you called for me," Midoriya said while entering the room.

"Indeed, we just want you to explain this to us," Nezu showed Midoriya his notebook, Midoriya paled at the sight.

"S-sir it's just a h-hobby-" Midoriya stammered.

"Now why are you lying boy?" A cop that Midoriya didn't recognize smiled at him.

"I-I'm not" Midoriya turned around to leave the room when he saw that someone was standing at the door stopping him from leaving.

Fuck, Midoriya thought.
