"What!? A quirk assessment test!?" Everyone screamed.
"But orientation, we are going to miss it!"
Uraraka said. I Had learned the girls names in the locker roomsMr. Aizawa said, "If you really want to make the big leagues, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies. Here at U.A., we're not tethered to traditions. That means I get to run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardized tests all your life, but you never got to use your Quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the Ministry of Education will learn."
I mean he wasn't wrong but he could go a little easy on us..
*Jerks head*
Mr. Aizawa looked at me before turning to a boy with blond spiky hair.
"Bakugo, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"
"67 meters I think"
"Great now try with your quirk."
Once Bakugo got to the circle Mr. Aizawa said, "Anything goes just stay in the circle, go on you're wasting our time"
He wound up then threw the ball yelling, "DIE!" as he threw it with a big explosion to top it.
"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities. It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero." He held up a machine with Bakugo's score,
705.2 meters
*jerks head and whistles*
Todoroki and Mr. Aizawa both look at me while everyone goes on about Bakugo's score. Todoroki looks slightly concerned but eventually lets it drop but Mr. Aizawa just stares.
Then people start saying how fun this will be and Aizawa stops glaring at me to speak.
"So this looks fun, huh?"
Oh no
"You have three years to become a hero, you think it's going to be all games and playtime? Idiots. Today, you'll compete in 8 physical tests to determine your potential as a hero. Whoever comes in last has none and will be expelled"I look around at everyone then notice Allmight around the corner.. what is he doing?
He looks at the green haired boy nervously. Did they know each other?
"Like I said, I get to decide how this class runs. Understand? If that's a problem, you can leave now"
"You can't send one of us home! I mean, we just got here! Even if it wasn't the first day, this isn't fair!"
I glance at her wishing she would just shut up. She is nice but this teacher is not joking..
"Oh, and you think natural disasters are? Or power-hungry villains, hmm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No, the world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to try and combat that unfairness. If you want to be a hero, you've got to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, U.A. will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So go beyond, Plus Ultra style. Show me it's not a mistake that you're here."
I was shaking. How am I supposed to do this?
"Now we are wasting time by talking, let the games begin"
*The 50 meter dash*
I was up against a girl that looks like a frog, so before I went up I gently placed my hand on the blue haired boy, Iida I think, then went up. He looked confused before we started but engines grew on my legs and he understood what I just did. We raced and I won with a score of 3.07.
