Thalia's POV

"So what do you want to show us?" I asked as we followed him out to the lake.

"It's a gift from my brother, Tyson!" Percy said happily, smiling excitedly. He reached into his bag and pulled out a mess of metal that fit in the palm of his hand.

"Oh my gods!" Nico exclaimed with over-enthusiasm, "That's so cool! That's amazing! A big scrap of metal! I want one!"

"Seriously what in the name of Hades is it?" I laughed.

"Not it Thalia," Percy corrected, "What in the name of Hades is she!"

"She?" Annabeth said looking at the ball of wires and metal scraps.

Percy smiled and then said to the ball, "Liv, awaken."

I jumped in surprise as the scrap started to move. I noticed a wing untangle, then two legs, then a couple heads. Finally it unraveled into its full, although tiny, form.

"Woah..." We all stared at the small robot in awe. It looked beautiful and delicate, yet also fierce...in a cute way.

"Guys," Percy said, "Meet Liv, Prototype E, the first fully functioning robot chimera created by my brother!"

I looked closer at the robot. It had razor sharp claws and teeth, along with delicate, small strands of metal hair covering her body. She had a delicately crafted lion head with a goat head next to it. Her tail was a beautiful metal snake. The best part though were her wings. They were beautiful and made with extra thin pieces of metal.

"What's it do?" Nico asked.

"It's a weapon," Percy stated. I snickered a bit at that.

"What's it going to do?" I laughed, "Bite my fingers to death?" How could that small thing be a weapon?

"Liv," Percy smirked, "Protocol 5B."

"What's that mean?" I asked.

"It means..." Suddenly the chimera/robot jumped at me. It was incredibly fast and every time I tried to get it off me it was gone by the time I reached for it. It's small teeth were VERY sharp and it bit my finger before jumping back in Percy's hand where it purred proudly.

"Why you little-" I started but was cut off.

"Why 'ello there!" A voice called out. I turned at the sound to see Chiron standing next to a mammoth of a man with a wild beard.

"This," Chiron gestured to the man, "Is Hagrid. He will be helping you throughout the quest."

The man smiled and waved at us. Percy returned the smile, hiding his pet in his bag. Annabeth and I nodded politely. Nico just grumbled a greeting.

"So you are the lot who are going to Hogwarts?" He said, "Well if you're going there you're going to need the correct equipment. I suppose you got your letters?"

Percy nodded pulling his out.

"A lot of weird stuff..." He said absentmindedly.

"And I know just the place to get 'em," Hagrid smiled at us, winking, "Of course, you need to get to London first."

Oh no...that means...

"I got yer plane tickets right here in me pocket," The man reached into his pocket, while I took the opportunity to try to slip away.

"And where do you think your going?" Annabeth said, trying to hide a laugh.

"Planes are a big no no," I defended, "I can NOT go on a freakin plane."
