Serenity Tamay's POV

Bang! I wake up with a jolt. I look outside my window, the sight is horrifying. My brother has just been shot! I run downstairs, down the hall, and then out the door. "This is none of your concern, go on!" Yells the peacekeeper I start to scream. I push the peacekeeper out of the way and run to my bleeding brother. "This isn't the way I wanted you to wake up on your second reaping." He says The peacekeeper grabs me and holds me against the wall. He holds up his gun, he is just about to pull the trigger when I hear: "And what do you think your doing, Lawrence." I look to the left of "Lawrence" and see President Snow! He comes towards my brother and my brother starts to cough. I scream for help, but he just shooshes me. I start to make threats, but catch myself to remember manors. He turns towards me and says "That was very disrespectful, I was just coming down to visit my favorite district, and who would have known that I would have death threats Made against me! Looks like we are not having a reaping after all!" They throw me into a train, I don't know what is going on until I see my mentor.

Desmond Dracal's POV

I ran to the TV and tried to turn on District 4's Reaping but it turns out they didn't have one because of a little 13 year old freaking out! That makes me really mad! I love the reapings! I go into my closet and pick out a bright green tux! My favorite color, my girlfriend hates this tux, but I don't care! She is just someone who brings my vibe down! I'm gonna dump her as soon as the reaping finishes! I run my hand through my hair and jump out the window! I see Rachel, my girl, and kiss the heck out of her! "STOP IT! AND WHY ARE U WEARING THAT SHIRT!" This is what I mean! I walk to the finger booth and then I walk to the 15 year old section. I wait and wait and wait, until she finally yells a names that I don't recognize! I yell I VOLUNTEER! Rachel starts crying but all I can do is smile
