"Hyung I told you it was going to rain. You never listen" Jisung shakes his head, finding amusement in his older friends suffering.

The younger always knew if it was going to rain, never unprepared for the situation. His white umbrella in his hand as he watches Changbin lift his backpack above his head to shelter him.

"You didn't tell me! I asked you this morning when I saw clouds coming our way and you said nothing" he tells him.

"Oops?"

"Oops your flat ass, Why didn't you warn me?" He asks.

"I like seeing you suffer" Jisung teases him. The two were waiting for Chan, who was taking his time helping the quiet kid.

"Is it just me or do you also think that kids weird?" Changbin asks, his voice hushed as Jisung follows his view to chan and the quiet kid in his class. "I'm not one to gossip but the other day I swear I saw him jump from the second floor of the school" Changbin tells him.

"Probably just athletic. Come on Binnie don't be a dick, the guy isn't that bad. Well I don't get any bad vibes from him, if anything he's really cute" Jisung states.

"You think everyone is cute, last week you said that tall guy from your grade was cute when he literally pours his milk before cereal" Changbin shakes his head.

"I do that"

"We are no longer friends, bye Jisung" Changbin says walking away only to receive a hit on the back of his head from the younger.

"Sorry guys Minho was asking about joining the dance team. Ready to go?" Chan asks holding up his umbrella only for Changbin to groan.

"You knew it was going to rain?" He asks.

"No Jisung told me this morning" he laughs as the three start walking. Jisungs attention of the quiet kid who was walking just a couple metres ahead. No umbrella and his uniform starting to soak from the rain.

After only a couple of seconds he sprinted and left the three oddly shocked at his sprint. "Must hate the rain" Chan muttered under his breath.

"Don't blame him, I'm getting soaked" Changbin groans. "Fuck it I'm going to call my sister to pick me up" he says running over to hide under the bus shelter.

"I guess I'll get a lift with his sister, you want to come with us Sung?" Chan asks the shorter who shakes his head.

"I live in the other direction from you guys. It would inconvenience his sister. Besides I quite like the rain" he tells them waving goodbye as he continues down the pathway.

That was half a lie, Jisung indeed did love the rain but he also was shy around Changbin older sister. She once walked in on him in the shower when he was 15 at Changbin place for a sleepover and he has forever felt nervous around her. She obviously apologised and left but he still felt nervous.

Continuing his walk he hears his phone go off, answering it he places it to his ear. "Hello?"

"Honey I'm coming over tomorrow to drop some food off for you. You can't say no, also your dad said to say hi— NO I DIDN'T— DID I ASK YOU? Okay bye now honey" his mom finishes as she hangs up, not letting him say anything else.

Jisung lived by himself, due to having to go to a school that was a fair distance from his parents home he decided it would be better and easier to live closer. His mother happily agreeing and his father mumbling things under his breath saying how easy he got everything. Which was true. As an only child Jisung was the favourite.

Continuing to his home he stops when a black cat sits down directly in front of him. Blocking his path. "Excuse me kitty, move" Jisung tells the cat trying to shoo it away. Yet the cat doesn't budge, he just stared at him with judging eyes.

Deciding to not piss the cat off he walks around the cat only for the cat to step in front of him again.

What the fuck?

"Excuse me, I need to go past" he tries to tell the cat, walking back to his right when the cat hops in front of him again. Hissing this time as Jisung frowns.

Why won't he let me pass

Deciding to wait for the cat to move, Jisung stands still and tries to see if the cat has kittens somewhere. "Maybe it's a momma cat?" He questions looking down at the pretty cat.

"It's a bit plump, maybe" after saying that the cat bit him, shaking his leg to get the cat to unlatch it's jaw, Jisung falls on his behind in shock.

"Why did you bite me?" He questions angrily, his ass hurting from the fall as he stares at the cat confused.

Yet his anger at the cat disappears when a snake slithers across the path he had tried to go down, it's striking dark black colour and yellow underbelly scaring the boy as he quickly gets up and drags the cat away to keep it a distance from the snake.

Sighing Jisung watches the snake slither under the fence and away from the human and cat.

"Did you just protect me?" He asks the cat. Yet as it's a cat it doesn't answer, just continues to give him a judging look as Jisung presses the cat to his chest. His hands going to check the cat for any injuries or a collar to find none.

"A stray, wanna be my kitty?" He asks the cat who tries to get out of his grip. "No no missy your probably starving and cold. Come on I'll take you home with me and warm you up" he tells the cat, pushing it into his jumper to hide him from the rain and keep him warm.

The cat gives up fighting and let's the stupid human being him along.

What a dumbass, the cat sighs.
