Paisleigh's POV

This should be great. Having to help your only friend pack to move away as the result of a divorce. I wish I could help her through it more, but I'm worried right now. Skylar was the only friend that didn't turn against me when I started cutting. She was one of the only ones who supported me instead of judging me. She helped me through my problems, now I should be helping her. But no. I'm the selfish, suicidal girl with no friends only worrying about herself in a friends time of need.

"Pais, are you okay? You've been staring at the wall for a while."

"I'm good. Just thinking." She sort of nodded her head before going back to folding clothes.

"I'm gonna miss you so much. It's gonna be hard without you here. What if I relapse Sky? Nobody else knows how to help me through it." She put the shirt that was in her hands down and walked over to me. She engulfed me in a hug.

"Paisleigh Evelyn Banks, you are the strongest person I know. Yeah, you've been through a bunch, but you did something a lot of people couldn't. You pulled through. And now you are a better person because of it."

"I'm gonna miss the pep talks." I said wiping my eyes and giggling a bit. We finished packing her things away and we took them outside to the moving truck. Her dad walked up and put his arms around our shoulders.

"I hate to tell you guys this, but we have to go." Tears started to fall again as I wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm gonna miss you more than anything Sky. I promise I'll come visit as much as I can."

"Okay. I love you Pais. Text me all the time or I'll hurt you." I laughed and pulled away from her.

"Wait! Don't leave yet!" We looked and saw our best friend Brian running down the street toward us. He hugged both of us.

"I couldn't let you leave without saying bye." She hugged him again.

"Come on Skylar. We have to go now." Her mom yelled from the truck.

"Alright bye guys. I'll miss y'all like crazy." She hugged us again. She got in the truck and waved bye. I turned to Brian and cried into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me as I cried.

"It's me and you now baby girl. We'll get through it together." He said rubbing my back.

"Can you spend the weekend at my house? I don't wanna be alone." I asked him lifting my head.

"Yeah. We have to go get my stuff though." I nodded and we started walking to his house. Skylar, Brian and I all lived in the same neighborhood. I lived across the street from Sky and Brian lived a few houses down. We got to his house and we were greeted by his mom.

"Mom, is it fine if I spend the weekend at Paisleigh's?"

"Why wouldn't I let you? I love Paisleigh more than you sometimes." She said wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

"Thanks mom. Love you too." We all started laughing. Brian and I walked upstairs to his room. I sat down on his bed as he got everything he needed and then went to find his bookbag to put it in. He left his phone on his bed, so I unlocked it. When I saw his background, I couldn't help but smile. It was a picture of me in my softball uniform and him in his baseball uniform and I was kissing his cheek. He walked back in and saw me smiling like an idiot.

"What?" He said with a laugh in his tone.

"Your background. It's my favorite picture."

"Mine too." I got up from the bed and went over to hug him. I wrapped my arms around his torso and he wrapped his around my back.

"I love you so much Bri."

"I love you too Pais." I let go and he went to put his stuff in the bag. He zipped it up, but I grabbed it and ran before he could put it on. I stood by he front door and waited on him with his book bag on.

"I'll carry your bag on one condition."

"And what would that be miss thang?" He said raising a brow.

"You have to give me a piggy back ride all the way back to my house." He rolled his eyes and laughed. He turned around.

"Hop on." I gasped and got on his back.

"Mom! We're leaving! Love you!" He said closing the door. He ran out the door and down the street.

"Brian! Slow down! You're gonna trip and we're both gonna fall!" I said laughing as I buried my head in his shoulder. He started laughing too. When we finally got to my house, he let me down. I walked inside and started to go upstairs.

"Paisleigh, is that you?" It was my mom. I walked into then kitchen with Brian following behind me.

"Yeah. What's up?" She smiled to Brian.

"Your dad and I are going to dinner then the store. I ordered an extra large pizza for you guys. You just have to go pick it up." I nodded. We went upstairs to get my 4 year old brother Kyle and my 11 year old sister Alexis.

"Alright. I'm gonna put your bag in my room and get Lex. Can you get Kyle?" I asked him. He smiled and nodded.

"Lex, come on. We're going to grab a pizza." I yelled from the hall. She jumped up and ran down the stairs. I grabbed my keys waited on the guys. We hopped in the car and drove off.

We picked up the pizza and drove back. Brian's phone went off while we were driving, so he told me to check it. I opened it and it was from his mom. It was a picture of us walking back earlier and the message said "oh, just date already!" I started laughing like a hyena as I showed him. He began to laugh too.

"I do like that picture though. It's cute." He said smiling.

"Me too. I'm gonna post it." He nodded and I sent it to my phone. I posted it on instagram and I captioned it "I guess I love him ❤ @ brianmoore"

When we got back, my parents were already gone. That meant that Brian and I were in charge. We finally got inside to eat.

"Do you wanna get pizza out, and I'll get everybody drinks?" Brian offered.

"Uh, sure. Thanks." He kissed my forehead and went and got cups. I got everyone pizza out on their plates, but I had to cut Kyle's pizza into little bites so he could eat it easier. Brian brought Kyle his favorite TMNT sippy-cup. I smiled to myself. We sat down to actually eat at last.

"Are you guys dating?" Alexis said out of nowhere.

"No. We're just really close friends." I said grabbing his arm. He smiled. After we finished dinner, I made Lex go shower so that she wouldn't have to worry about it later. Brian and I went to my parents bathroom to give Ky a bath.

After everything was taken care of, I put Kyle to sleep and Alexis dozed off on her own. Brian and I changed into pajamas then went downstairs to watch a movie. I layed in between his legs with my head on and back to his chest and I turned on Tammy. I started to fall asleep myself, when my parents walked in.

"Hey sweetie. Are the other two asleep?" I nodded.

"Thank you. Goodnight. Love you." Mom said then walked away. I yawned then got up and held my hand out for Brian.

"You look exhausted. You want me to carry you?" He asked. I nodded of course. He picked me up bridal style and carried me to my room. He placed me on the bed and layed next to me. He pulled the blankets up over us. I turned over so that I was facing him. We started staring into each others eyes.

"I don't think you realise how beautiful you are Paisleigh." We both started leaning in. Finally our lips connected. Sparks. Oh my lord. I think I'm in love with my best friend.

It doesn't seem like it now, but I promise it IS a Nash fanfiction. I just have to lead up to it.
