The awkward silence filled the room as Fundy laced his brown, dirted, leather, boots. His father, Wilbur, grabbed his beanie from a small coat hanger near the door. Fundy stood up, not a word to be spoken. Even if he wanted to speak, it was meaningless, there was nothing to speak of. Fundy and Wilbur walked out the door, the soft rain patting their shoulders as they walked. Fundy Trotted along the small, stone, path, jumping from rock to rock. His boots made a small splash each rock he landed on, which made him smile in glee. "Stop messing around, we have Business today and I don't want you looking a mess when we get there. You embarrassed me enough last time." Wilbur said softly, not looking back to even think of facing his son. "Yes sir." Fundy pouted, his tail dragging along the wet rocks. The rest of the walk was silent, as always. Fundy kept behind Wilbur the entire walk, making sure he couldn't see when he'd stop to pick up a bug, or look at a tree. After the long, awkward walk, Wilbur was greeted by a man with the name of Jschlatt. "My buddy, my pal!" Jschlatt patted Wilbur on the shoulder with his sickening grin growing. Fundy hid off to the side, avoiding the man at all cost. "Hello schlatt, how are you and your son doing?" Wilbur asked with a soft smile, "Ah, we're doing just fine. He's inside with my Husband right now if you'd like to see him." Jschlatt  spat while rubbing the back of his head. "Actually, come inside it's raining quite hard and we have business to take care of." He added, his odd grin growing again while wrapping an arm around Wilburs shoulder, leading him inside. Fundy nervously walked inside after them, his head facing the ground at all times. "Ah! You brought your daughter?" Jschlatt smiled and patted Fundys hat, he jumped at the gesture, "Oh yes, I didn't want to leave her at home besides, she and your son are close." Wilbur added, smiling back. Fundy stood awkwardly, he knew it wasn't right. He didn't have the confidence to correct them, though he really wanted to. He was very scared of the two older men, especially Jschlatt. The man stood at 6'3, basically hanging over Fundy. Schlatt wreaked of alcohol and cheap cigarettes, you could smell the man a mile away. His ram horns were scratched and broken, without explanation or reasoning that he'd reveal any time soon. He wore a black suit, accompanied with a bright red tie, his suit was fitted perfectly but still messy. His facial hair was messy and cut oddly, no one had the courage to question him on it though. "Fundy, how about you and Tubbo go play?" Wilbur gestured towards the small boy behind Jschlatt. The boy was small, and resembled Schlatt a little bit. His eyes were brown, just as his hair. He wore a deep green button up, a pair of caci brown shorts and a pair of poorly made leather boots with small bees engraved into the sides. The boy's brown hair covered his eyes as he peaked out from behind his father, "Hello!" Tubbo greated Fundy, smiling brightly. Tubbo ran out from behind his dad and over to Fundy, grabbing one of his hands, "Let's go outside! There's puddles!" The small goat smiled, "Uh- sure?" Fundy replied, an awkward smile following. Him and Tubbo have always been close. Tubbo was nothing like his father. He was a sweet, kind hearted soul. Although he wasn't all rainbows, and sometimes scared the crap out of Fundy with his random quotes. The quotes would go along the lines of "I'm gonna kill you. Very soon." With a creepy smile following. Fundy had learned to get used to these kinds of comments over time, but the first time he said it, Fundy thought it was the end for him. The two boys ran outside into the woods nearby, "What do you think they're talking about today?" Fundy muttered to Tubbo, "Probs some stuff about the president stuff, like usual." Tubbo replied, climbing onto a branch, poking at a beehive with a stick. Fundy stood in the wet grass a little below him. "I know that, but I mean what kind of stuff. This nations going to go shit, I just know it Tubbo." Fundy protested, "I don't understand how you just don't care about this stuff, as soon as I'm old enough I'm ditching this stupid country." He added afterwards, sitting on the wet grass. Tubbo dropped the stick and looked down at Fundy, "Y'know you shouldn't say stuff like that, what if they hear?" Tubbo said, tilting his head, then jumped down to get his stick again. "I don't care if they hear me. Even if they do hear me, I'm still leaving. I don't want to be here. I hate this country, I hate my dad." Fundy spat, pushing his knees into his chest, "You should run away with me, Tubbo. We can be free! We don't have to run this hell-hole, we can go far away from here!" Fundy said confidently, his confidence was soon shot down, "We can't go Fundy, even if we tried. We were born to be president. One day we won't be friends. There is no "one day". We can't leave, we just have to keep going." Tubbo threw the stick at Fundy. Fundy stayed silent, resting his head on his knees."I want to leave,Tubs." Fundy muttered under his breath. "I know, I do too." Tubbo replied, empathy filling his voice. Tubbo walked over to Fundy and sat next to him, "Sorry 'bout my dad saying the wrong pronouns. He doesn't believe in that stuff." Tubbo added, playing with a random bug in the grass."It's fine. My dad does it all the time." Fundy spoke quietly, his voice muffled due to his face being pushed into his knees. Tubbos picked up the bug with a stick, holding it in the air like a trophy.  Tubbos stomach growled, "Food time." He chirped, dropping the bug and jumping up, "Come on!" He grabbed Fundy, basically yanking him up. Fundy stood up and nodded. Tubbo trotted off, Fundy following behind. "CHUGA CHUGA CHUGA CHOO CHOO!" Tubbo chanted whilst waving his stick high in the air as Fundy followed, "What are you doing-" Fundy giggled. "We're like a train!" Tubbo announced, continuing to wave his stick in the air and chant odd train sounds until they arrived back at Tubbos home. "¡Hola! Bienvenido a casa!" Quackity waved. "¡Hola papá!" Tubbo chirped while running over to the man and hugging him tightly, "Hello Fundy," Quackity added, smiling at Fundy while patting Tubbos head. "Hello Mr.Q" Fundy muttered quietly, "Come on in boys, I've made lunch." He smiled, opening the door for them, Tubbo raced inside, his smile bigger than the sun. Fundy anxiously followed behind him, smiling at Quackity while entering the kitchen. The two boys were greeted with two grilled cheese sandwiches and some lemonade, "GRILLED CHEESE MY FAVORITE, Gracias Papá!" Tubbo smiled while devouring that poor grilled cheese, "Thank you." Fundy added after Tubbos remark. Fundy slowly ate, only taking a few bites, "You're welcome." Quackity said while sitting down across from the boys, "Are you done Fundy? You didn't eat a lot.." Quackity said, concern filling his voice, "I'm okay, I wasn't too hungry, thank you though." Fundy said, a small smile following, "If you say do." Quackity sighed, picking up both the boys plates and setting them in the sink with a small clatter.
