KINGS POV
I feel knots in my throat and my brain is pulsing against my skull. I have never felt this much pain in my life. Not during combat and not even when I broke my promise with Diane. I was afraid of what had happened in Lionis, afraid of people believing what they framed us for. There's nothing worse than expecting something good and receiving something horrible, it's like a slap in the face, but this is like being brutally murdered. Why? Why would Ban do it? Why couldn't I stop this either? All I had in me were regrets. Regrets of everything I couldn't do. That's why I'm going to the bar to try to forget, even if it's for a second. Plus, it's a good excuse to down a whole lot of Bernia Ale.
I hardly feel my feet moving, but I can feel the light breeze hitting my face. It's refreshing. I look up at the moon and for a moment only think of what it would be like to sit on the surface. I trip over a loose tile right before I arrive at the bar; a popular place called Griffin's. It's where most of the Holy Nights go but it's still pretty wild in there. It's kind of embarrassing that I even managed to mess up walking, but I shake it off and push open the heavy wooden door.
As the door creaks open the insides of the establishment bleed out. The yellowish light, the slight breeze carrying a scent of booze, food, and sweat, and the loud sounds of music and talking spill out. I make my way across the bar, shyly dodging seated and walking customers. I wanted to have an added layer of anonymity so I changed my usual outfit to something a bit more casual; loose mocha brown pants and a tighter fitting white shirt with sleeves ending at my elbows. This was pretty important to me since I was afraid of being spotted. Posters of the Seven Deadly Sins were plastered at every place where a lot of people gather. Even though the photo they have of me is one where I'm transformed I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I make it to the counter and sit on the wooden stool. The bartender, a tall and chunky man with half closed eyes and loose and ragged clothes, sleepily walks to me and in a lazy voice asks,
"Can I take your order?"
Almost too quickly I reply,
"Bernia Ale please."
The bartender nods and slowly walks away.
I scan the rows of booze sitting in front of me, and then my eyes drift down to my hands clasped on the wooden counter. It's quiet moments like these, those when i'm all alone that my mind drifts and I think of everything. *THUD* The cup of booze placed in front of me rudely yanks me away from my wandering mind (thankfully) and I snap my head up to see a wooden barrel-like cup and the bartender walking away. Without giving it a second thought I immediately begin to chug. The drink is cool, sweet, and smooth, but it leaves a little sting on my tongue and throat that makes the drink better somehow. One drink quickly turned into three, and I began to feel a little tipsy. Ahhh. Now the goood feelings settle in.

Y/N'S POV
My head's a little heavy and my body feels like a bean bag. Maybe I need sleep, but I'd rather go out and have fun. It beats seeing the same walls as always, but I wouldn't mind them so much if I had someone else there with me. I really really enjoy company, but my shyness gets in the way of meeting new people sometimes. Drinking helps me relax, but so far all it's given me are hangovers and bad morning breath. Nonetheless I have hope that I'll meet someone to keep me a little company, even if it's just for the night, so I'm taking a late night stroll to Griffin's. I know that the place is packed mostly with Holy Nights, but from my experience there's some pretty friendly souls that make their way there. Plus, I wouldn't mind taking home a hunk Holy Night. I came prepared, and dressed casual enough for friends but sexy enough to pick up a date. I'm wearing a tight black crop and low rise jeans along with some flats. I'm not much of a fashionista but it's the best I could put together for an occasion like this.
