Chapter 2

Reina's POV

It's been a month since I slept with Blessed and to say it was the best month would be a lie. It was hell.
I always wake up sick. I wake up feeling dizzy and lazy and really weak.
Also everyday after I have my morning meal I hurl it in the bathroom.

I had just exited the studio bathroom . I work as a swim suit model. Everyone was looking at me as if I had grown a second head.
It was the second time today and to say everyone was a bit worried was an understatement. I was the lead model, which meant that if anything happened to me these people were done for.

"Reina , darling why don't you take a break. We don't want anything to happen to you baby.", Gustavo said looking at me.

"No Gus I am okay....I will pull through also we almost done."

I went back to the set and took a pose in the designer swimsuit I had been given to wear.
Eugene took a couple of photos and I headed to the changing room.

I returned and took a pose with water being poured from above to make the set realistic.
From nowhere I started to feel a little bit fuzzy with my eyes being blurry. I started to feel dizzy and the last thing I remember is everything going black and everyobe yelling my name.

Carol's POV

I was at work when I received a call from Reina's studio saying she was taken to a hospital after she fainted.
I was shocked. Yeah this month she's been feeling a little under the weather but I didn't expect it to be this bad.

That was two hours ago and right I have been pacing through the ward worried sick for my best friend. The doctors hadn't told me anything so at this point every scenario was running through my mind.

"Family of Reina.",a nurse called out and I immediately looked at her.

"Is she okay?"

"She is awake and is waiting for you right now. The doctor will be there to tell you his diagnosis."

I rushed through the doors to go see my friend.

"Reina are you okay?! What happened?!" I asked pulling her into a hug.

"Caro.. Carol I can't br-breathe."

"Sorry"

"It's okay. Also I don't know. Apparently I just fainted."

The door then opened and a short old man in a white lab coat entered.

"Good day ladies. I am doctor Conor."

"Hello."

"Afternoon. Doctor would you happen to know what is wrong with her."

"I do but thing is there is nothing wrong with the patient. Actually it's very good news. Miss Reina Ortiz you are pregnant."

Reina's POV

I was shocked.

"Four weeks to be exact. I have written a prescription for vitamins for pregnancy and a drug to stop the nausea and morning sickness."

Four weeks! That's a month and I haven't been with anyone since I was with Blessed. Oh my goodness I am pregnant with that nobodies child!

"No no no no no no nooooo doctor you have to be joking right. I can't have that peasants child."

"No it's not a joke and please get some rest. You fainted of exhaustion."

"Carol what am I going to do. This will be the end of me. I can't be pregnant. I have a career that doesn't need this plus that guy is a loser it will ruin my brand and name!"
