Kellin's Tale

A Bright Beginning

The sun shines bright in my face as I wake up. I got out of bed as I stretched feeling calm and relaxed. Today was an important day because I start my new school later. I went over to my dresser as I gathered my clothes. As I got dressed I suddenly looked in the mirror. I notice each time I get older I look more like someone but I couldn't figure out who. As I finally finished getting dressed I fixed my hair. I had on a white undershirt with an un-buttoned dark green flannel. I also had on dark yellow skinny jeans along with brown converse. I got my red book bag as I left my room. I walked out of my house, locking the door behind me. I automatically knew my dad was at work but he would be home later. I got into my yellow and black camaro quickly driving away before people started showing up. Luckily I got my drivers permit so I can get myself to school since dad's always at work. As I pulled up to the school I instantly saw that everyone was staring at the car. 'Nice going Kellin you can't even go anywhere without people staring', I thought to myself. I parked my car and I got out. Automatically I caught the girls staring and I chuckle to myself. It's nice being the new kid it means that no one has no idea who you are, what your name is and where you came from. I started to walk up to the school as someone suddenly caught my eye. " Thorin!" Someone shouted, 'wait...that name sounds to familiar but I couldn't figure it out' I thought to myself. "Hey Dwalin how've you been?" Thorin suddenly asked. "Good" he replied. "Hey check out the new kid" someone else said. My cheeks suddenly got red not expecting the sudden attention. Thorin suddenly looked at me but his facial expression surprised me. He looked at me with this look like he's seen a ghost and like...he'd seen someone dearly important to him.. I quickly entered the school not hearing what Thorin said as I passed him. I went to the cafeteria as I sat at at table I could alone. Suddenly these two guys came up to me. "Dear brother could it be!" Said the first brother. "No way...we finally found him.." Said the second brother. "I'm honestly confused with who you two are talking about" I stated. "Oh silly us we didn't mean to be rude, I'm Fili and this is my younger brother Kili" Fili said finally introducing himself and his brother. "Hi, my name is Kellin Baggins" I said shyly. "Kellin?" Kili asked, "What's your middle name if you don't mind me asking" he said politely. "No one really asked that before but I'll only tell you because your kind" I said. "My middle name is Bilbo, so my full name is Kellin Bilbo Baggins" I said very proudly. Now out of no where Fili and Kili were giving me the same look Thorin gave me when he first saw me. Oh what an interesting day this'll be.
