It was the end, right? Her fate was destined the moment she was born in this world, just like everyone else right? Then why do I have a bitter feeling as if I just lost my loved one? It was 20 years ago where I had finally felt this sort of emotion. Can I please just go back in time to finally reverse my mistakes? Or was this the purpose of this world? I guess we'll truly never know.
My room never felt colourful nowadays, white plastered walls with beige covered carpet. It was the norm as my mother often left to attend to her 'duties' when truly she was slacking off with her drunk friends and going to bars to get wasted. While she drinks to calm her mind, I stay home and do chores to pass the time, It has been 10 years since I've been visited by my friends because of a rough incident causing us to separate. I won't go in great detail, it's mostly because I don't remember what happened, but the last thing I remember before I blacked out was Mother shouting and slapping me while I stay shocked and still just like a statue. The moment was miserable, I honestly wanted to disappear from existence. Huh, it's 9:00 am? Time sure flies by once you do your chores and ponder on what happened for the last couple of days. Oh shoot, the clock is broken.. I should fix it for the well being.
(12pm) Well, I guess nothing can fix it now, I should go make lunch and focus on daily activities like cleaning and other stuff. I wonder what I should do after I finish maybe I could-
*DING DONG BING!
What? Who could be knocking at this hour? It's only 12pm, Mother shouldn't come in until 5pm.. Well for good manners, I should answer the door, right? Ugh, whatever let's just get it over with.
*Opens the Door with a slight creek*
"???: Hey, Neighbour. What a old house! I never knew people made these nowadays as the old houses were replaced with robotic functional ones!"
"Aether: Oh, okay. So, Who are you?"
"???: Ah, the names Ganyu! How about you?"
"Aether: Oh, it's Aether. Pleasure to meet you."
"Ganyu: Hehe."
Aether peered outside to see a catastrophic world, it was bland and monotonous. Such a dull world, it had changed over night? This couldn't be happening.
"Aether: Ah, uhm. What year is it?"
"Ganyu: Huh, you don't know? Well, I guess we're sometimes forgetful. It is 2041."
HUH?! 2041? What is she talking about? How did I go back in time? It was 2021 yesterday, oh my goodness, what am I going to do now?
"Aether: Excuse me miss, I need to go calm down a bit.."
"Ganyu: Oh, that's alright. I'll come in at 4pm to hang out with you. As, I don't really have friends, one of my fictional friends are God. But, most of the times, I get lonely. Well, neighbour. I'll catch you later! Bye!"
The door slams shut, while I take a moment to recollect myself. What just happened? I've been told that I'm currently in 2041. How am I going to go back? Maybe, I have some sort of mission to do here and I get sent back or I spend 1 day in this world like those mangas go like. Ugh, when will this be over with? I should go make lunch now as I'm starving to death.
*Montage of Eating*
The sandwiches were okay, it was quite juicy and the meat was splendid. I guess I don't need to mind about Mother usually beating me up after having the day out with her friends. I need to change too, I look filthy. My pyjamas are dirty and a mess, maybe I should take a shower. Yeah, I guess I should take a shower. Besides, what could go wrong.
*After 1 hour*
Oh, I took quite a long time huh? Well, it's my fault for stupidly taking a nap for 45 minutes in the shower. What clothes should I wear today? Maybe these light-blue jeans, white turtle neck sweater and a long beige coat. This should do..

What the? Oh, yeah. It's that girl again. What was her name? Hmm.... OH! Ganyu. I'll just greet her.
Swiftly, I twist the doorknob to unlock the door and I met the same girl but with pleasant clothes such as a black skirt, matching with a white "off-shoulders" top, buttoned up with a bow. She had gold jewellery and a watch, it was as if she was trying to be as presentable as she could. I had a strange feeling though, I didn't realise in the moment though..
