Chapter 3 - Dangerous

'Hmm? What are you so in thought, Aether?' Ganyu said in a voice of excitement, just like a little kid.
'Nothing much! I was just asking what would we do on the adventure?' Aether fumbled on his words, which sounded quite incoherent but Ganyu understood what he said quite well.
'We can go visit Mondstadt! I've heard that's a fantastic place where all the freedom is! Well, that was until 2 years ago when the nation crumbled..' Ganyu mumbled under her breath.
'But, but, but! It's fine, Liyue is an amazing place with all the festivals going on and all the amazing food!' Ganyu raved and went on a tangent about how extravagant and extraordinary Liyue was, you could even see the shiny sparkles glowing in her eyes.
Ganyu blushed quickly, 'A-ah! But we can not go to Liyue if you want! I mean, there are other places to go to! Just like Sumeru, or-or, Inazuma!'
'Hahaha! That's fine, we can go stop by at Liyue if you really want to, I'm fine with anything as long as we have fun together. I mean besides, it's a fun experience and nothing dangerous would happen anyways!' Aether chuckled.
Ganyu went dead silent, she froze like a statue and pale at the word 'dangerous.'
'Huh, what's wrong?' Aether said, acting surprised and shocked.
'Ah, nothing is wrong, please just refrain from using that word, please?' Ganyu pleaded.

[POV: Ganyu]
There was nothing wrong with what he said but something just, sent me chills to my spine. What could have caused that? I was thinking when it hit me, what if it was dangerous? But I didn't want to ruin our first outing together! If I did wouldn't he so disappointed at me? I don't even have the guts to say anything, I wish I had more confidence..

[POV: Aether]
Haaah.. now I feel like I REALLY screwed something up. Was there anything wrong with me saying the word 'dangerous?' Hopefully, I didn't set up a mine against us two.. Could this day get any better?

'Hey, so. What would we even do on Liyue?' Aether asked, awkwardly. Half expecting an answer and not at the same time.
'Oh! Uhm, there are lots of unsolved mysteries that surround Liyue as a whole. We could go explore them for 3 days and the rest of the afternoons, we get a break! Awesome, right?'
Ganyu commented enthusiastically.
'Yeah! Besides, I really want to try some delicious food, when should we meet again?' Aether hungrily stated.
'Ahh.. no.. I can't do it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.. I can do it on Friday! Ah, I'll have to ask for 3 days off then, huh?
Ganyu mumbled to herself nervously.
'What keeps you so busy?' Aether chuckled
'Oh, it's the never endless work from being a secretary for the Liyue Qixing. Haha, I have a lot piled up on my hands..' Ganyu stated, just like a businesswoman.
'Woah! And where's your job at? I wanna visit you sometimes!' Aether said, curiously.
Ganyu blushed,
'Uhm, my job is at the Liyue, as it says in the title and I just wanted to explore Liyue more since I never go anywhere outside the city. I usually do errands but that's not fun at all..'
'Ah, welp! Since this is your first time! Just enjoy it, you'll have happy memories, just remember it. You owe me!' Aether teasingly mocked poor Ganyu.
'Cut it out, Aether!' Ganyu screamed while bright red!
