"WHAT IS IT NOW, OLD HAG?" Rosewood orbs that resembled a flame burning so passionately, symbolizing nothing else but ruination. Her skin of snow and hair of clouds woven of brightest moonlight, similar to a colorless winter landscape.

The pristine and innocent demeanor of hers didn't match who she truly is—another sinful being of this deceitful and forsaken world. No, she, in any way, never stained her soft, delicate hands with any blood. The one impure was her soul——dirtied, tainted and filthy. But what exactly was the difference of those two?

In the entrance of the room she owned stood a woman in her forties, her attire consisted of a plain, black dress with long sleeves and a high collar that reached upon her neck. Her indecent attitude towards the elder did not went unnoticed, but when you are a high-ranking individual whose intelligence and keen perception had been recognized by the demons themselves, Grandma Sarah could not be bothered to point out her behavior. She, a young and sheltered weapon, merely eleven years of age, had everyone wrapped around her paw.

"You're showing up all of a sudden——"

"Few children from Plantation Three has found out," Glowing Scarlet eyes enlarged their usual range at the older fellow's unexpected statement and she felt a chill darting down her spine. She was not afraid nor was she actually surprise. Fear and shock weren't the words to describe her point of view. Rather, she sensed a glowing ember in her battered soul as she felt a sky-sprung electricity jolt in her.

How long had she waited? How many times had she dreamed of this?

Her head angled down as she drew out her right hand to take the deck of cards that laid down beside her feet, taking out the small pieces of printed hard paper from its cocoon. "And?" Her voice, in Grandma's perspective, sounded uninterested. Regardless of that, the child had an intrigued expression and her eyebrow raised, a gesture for the taller woman to continue.

Shades of platinum walked further to the room, her aging hands clasped on her behind and a calm composure plastered on her grown face, "I wanted to know your opinion——"

"Right now, Grandma Sarah, the most important thing is . . . " she gave an irritated sigh and closed her eyes for a brief second before she finally returned the gaze of the hoary old woman with a warning look. "If you so ever knocked out my card fortress, I won't hesitate to ship you out to those monsters."

Around the room of ivory walls, a wondrous assemblage of card pillars were exhibited all over the place, its height even towering the milky-haired girl which made Sarah ponder how did the eleven-year old managed to construct such work at the span of less than 24 hours——but then again, the young one was nothing of ordinary. She was a prodigy, the highest of the highest, a special entity who had her privileges because of her connections with a certain man.

"Although I don't think they would prefer such a rotten feast for dinner," The insolent tone of her voice and her discourteous retort meant not to add fuel to fire any further. Grandma Sarah knew not to piss of the female albino, so the woman voluntarily steps away from the tarot card columns.

"From the get-go, it is assumed the eldest of Gracefield House are the ones to had left a trace near the Headquarters——" The young girl stared at nothing particular while she listened attentively to Sarah's explanations that slipped out from her discolored and dry lips.

"Yes, that is certain, " she breathes out, standing up with her hands spread out and lids covering her crimson orbs. "I don't want to cause commotion with them, so are there any other people who know of this?"

"The only ones to have known this is me and Isabella."

"Very well. You may leave now."

The corner of Grandma's lips twitched; coy and insincere as her footsteps faded from the background until the slamming of the door echoed in her room. Just in time as the door closed, the source of the area's light flickers.

The room was left alone with the isolated girl whose eyes previously lidded, snapped open after a few seconds, revealing her sparkling rubies, a glint of mischief played on them as if she had figured out everything. As if she already had a hypothesis, a plan to stop those who want to escape, imprinted in her mind.

"Just as I thought, " the words were spoken to no one in particular. A devilish grin nestled home on her face, teeth gleaming in the flickering night light—a sign that all hell was going to loose.

She was unstoppable.

"Eliminating Isabella is too risky. She's the only useful person here," Her hand reached out to her snow white locks, tucking a strand of her hair at the back of her ear. "I guess I have to take matters in my own hands."

With that, she leaned down to the origin of the tarot card buildings which linked to the other column of cards and she extends her arm before taking the piece that caught the apple of her eye. One after another, the fascinating aerial scene of  cards falling showed a domino effect, scattering above in the air. Despite such a mesmerizing view, the prodigious juvenile disregarded it.

Just like curtains enclosing, the fortress collapses completely.

Yet her eyes trained on the card she fiddled with her fingers;

XV-DEVIL.
