Chapter 17

Severus headed to the kitchen, leaving Lucius and Harry alone.

"How are you liking the Manor?" Lucius questioned.

"It's odd, it's so much different to the Dursley's house, although also gives me Hogwarts vibes, you know? It's big, obviously Hogwarts is bigger." Harry said.

"I know what you mean. You don't have to tell me anything. But do you think your mental health is improving since meeting that therapist?"

"Oh definitely. And I think just being out of the Dursley's altogether is helping me, I had gotten used to the stuff they would do to me and kinda wasn't surprised anymore. But you lot, quite surprisingly have helped me." Harry smiled.

"Quite surprisingly? Oh I'm offended." Lucius laughed.

Harry snorted, "to be fair, you are the Malfoys. Do I need to say anything else?"

"Fair enough. Severus isn't a Malfoy however."

"Yeah... But he's Severus Snape." Harry laughed.

"Alright, yeah, fair enough." Lucius laughed with him.

Just when they were both calming down from laughing, Severus came back in. "I won't question why you're both laughing. That's never a good sign, but I'll ignore it and hope the world doesn't end later. Foods almost ready, I'll go get Cissa and Dray from outside."

"Thank you Severus darling." Lucius smirked, standing up, knowing the man would not appreciate the name.

"Dickhead." Severus mumbled under his breath as he headed from the living room to the patio doors which lead out to the large garden. Severus glanced around before finding Narcissa and Draco stood in one of the three greenhouses they had. Severus headed inside the greenhouse, he simply said the word "Food." before turning around to head back inside the manor but he was stopped by someone grabbing his arm. He didn't even need to turn around to know it was Draco.

"Yes Draco?" He questioned as he turned on his heel.

Draco in return said nothing, instead choosing to stand on his tippy toes to put a single Edelweiss flower behind his ear, pulling the man's bun out so it looked better.

"I... Thank you..." Severus laughed. "Can I take this out now?" He asked.

"No bitch. You're keeping it in for the rest of the day. You look pretty!!!" Draco laughed.

"What is it with Malfoys giving me ridiculous pet names?" Severus groaned, headed back inside, the flower still sitting behind his ear. He headed to the dining room and sat down opposite Harry, Lucius of course at the head of table.

"Very pretty Severus. Trying a different.... Style?  Are the black clothes going next?" Lucius questioned, a teasing smirk on his face.

"No and no. Draco put the flower in my hair for whatever reason and my black clothes are staying, bitch." Severus grumbled, pouring everyone's drinks. Wine for himself, Lucius and Narcissa. Pumpkin juice for Harry and apple juice for Draco.

"I'll go get the food now." Severus said as he left the room, heading for the kitchen.

Draco and Narcissa walked in a second after the black haired man left, wearing much cleaner clothes than what they were wearing outside, Narcissa obviously having used magic to change their dirty clothes into smarter and clean clothes.

Draco sat down next to Harry, Narcissa taking her seat at the other end of the table, opposite Lucius.

Severus walked holding two plates and having the other three plates floating behind him.

"Part of me thinks we should help him. Another part of me wants to just laugh at him." Draco snorted. Lucius nodded in agreement, with an amused smile on his face.

"What's so funny? I'm just carrying two plates and using magic to have the other three follow." Severus rolled his eyes, gently setting the plates in front of each person, until finally sitting down himself with his own plate. "Enjoy." Severus said with a small sigh afterwards.

They all began their meals, each thanking Severus and complimenting his cooking. Eventually they all finished. Harry with a little left on his plate. Snape stood and collected their plates and gave Harry a nod of praise for him eating as much as he possibly could. He puts the plates and glasses in the sink in the kitchen and waved his wand, and the kitchenware one by one began floating along with a sponge and began cleaning themselves and returning themselves back to their original spot in the cupboard.

Snape left the kitchen, and sat back down in the living room with the book he was reading earlier.

Narcissa came in after twenty minutes, "Severus. Harry and Draco were able to pursuade Lucius and I to join them outside on our brooms to just fly around. Care to join us?"

"I suppose I could." Severus said, marking the page he is on with a green and silver bookmark and stood up. With a wave of his wand his clothes had changed into some more comfortable and easy to move in trousers and a black turtle neck. His hair still down with the flower still sitting in his hair, he decides to please Draco and added some magic to the flower to stop it from falling out and of course dying until he took it out that night while getting ready for bed.

"Very handsome." Narcissa commented, while walking out the patio door into the garden along with Severus.

Severus waved his wand and both Narcissa and his own brooms flew into their hands.

I am aware I said hopefully I'd be updating my stories more often now I've left school but finding motivation to do is difficult. I apologise.
