She took a step back and watched his car become just one small dot. She walked to her door, but when she reached it, she could not find the keys.
She rummaged through her bag and suddenly felt the gun on her head and the sound of the trigger and behind her was a black silhouette that did not look like the person she had seen before.
“For the record, this is not the first time someone has pointed a gun at my head, I'm not afraid.”
“Oh don't worry, you'll be afraid soon”, a female voice spoke behind her.
“So what are you going to do? Kill me? In front of my own doors? Come on, just say what you want and get lost.”
The voice behind her was silent.
“No? Okay..”
Eda hit the woman standing behind her with her elbow, and then gave her a couple of knee blows to the nose and a few fists.
The woman found herself on the floor, and all Eda could see was the mask she was wearing over her face. She crouched beside her, took the gun from her hands and aimed it at her head as she removed the mask from her face.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Don't worry, you will get to know me a little better. I know what you did.”
“Good for you my dear, good for you. Now get off my property before I drill your head... Now!”
The woman got to her feet and started running towards the gate.
“We will meet again, Eda Yildiz”, was the last sentence she uttered to Eda that evening.
“Wow, I seriously need a security..what a bastard” she said while going into the house.
She went straight from the door to the bathroom and took another shower. She put the gun in the dresser, it wasn't interesting to her. She had one in her collection a long time ago. Suddenly, when she came out of the shower she heard footsteps around the house. She took out the same gun she had just left in the dresser in the bathroom few minutes ago and went outside in a bathrobe.
She walked down the halls of her villa, but there was no one upstairs. When she took quiet steps downstairs, she saw the door to the secret basement open.
“Fuck..”
She went down the stairs quietly, but it was dark downstairs. She noticed that the flashlight was burning and fired right next to the silhouette that held that lamp.
“What the fuck Eda, you wanna kill your own lawyer?”
“Serkan?”, she turned on the light.
“I forgot my keys, didn't want to disturb your shower”
“I almost killed you, what are you doing in the dark here, turn on damn light”
“I would just take my keys and leave”
“And I told you to always close doors behind you.. You weren't born in a boat”
“Okay, okay.. Sorry, it was a mistake”
She didn't answer, she only kept eye contact with him.
“And don't sneak around my house anymore, someone pointed a g.. Nevermind”
“What?”
“Someone pointed a gun on my head few minutes ago anyways, so don't sneak. I thought she was back.”
