Is this a dnf oneshot? Yes it very much is lol. Ik it's a pretty common setting for dnf AU's to be in highschool but whatever.

George POV
I was trying my hardest to not cry this morning. Everything was just going horribly wrong. I woke up and hopped out of bed just to step on a water bottle that fell on the floor at some point. Then, when I went downstairs to get some cereal. I tried to pour the milk into it just to find it was expired and gross. At that point I was gonna be late for school so I didn't bother trying to get something else to eat. Then, as I was walking out the door I remembered, THE BIG GAME IS TODAY!
I'm a cheerleader for our school (go tigers!) and tonight I have to cheer for our team at one of the biggest and most important games this year!
The other cheerleaders with me are Ant, Puffy, Niki and a few others. I wouldn't say that Quackity is necessarily 'on the team' he's just more like the manager I guess. He makes sure we're all eating properly, doing good in class all while still making us laugh and have fun together. I guess it's just the funny, chaotic energy he brings to the group is what makes him the best manager we can get.
I quickly burst out the door hoping I wouldnt be late. The chilly, but not freezing, spring breeze brushed along my face as I made my way down the sidewalk. I was speed walking down the street and suddenly, I heard a loud 'HONK!' It was Sapnap, Karl and Quackity driving up beside me.
"HEY GEORGE! HOP IN!" Sapnap yelled, sticking his head out the car window. I could see Karl and Quackity waving to me through the windows.
"Hi Sap," I said as I climbed into the backseat.
"Sooooo, you excited for the big game today?" Karl asked
"He's probably excited to see Dream too..." Quackity said as he let out a small giggle. I immediately reached to the front seat to punch his arm.
"QUACKITY! QUIT IT!" I yelled as Karl and Sapnap started laughing at Quackity's comment. I buried my face in my hands half from embarrassment and half from wanting to hide the fact I was blushing. I then lifted my head back up a minute later and calmly looked over at Karl, "Yes Karl, I am excited for the game this evening."
The three of them laughed and joked at my expense for the rest of the ride to school. I just sat there, occasionally yelling at them to 'quit it' or scoffing in response to them.
We eventually made it to the school and just in time for the bell to ring.
"Okay, I'll see you guys later, 'kay?" I said, stepping out of the car.
"Sure thing, george!" Sapnap said as everyone else stepped out of the car. Karl and Sapnap then went to their classes and Quackity came with me as we have the same class first period.
"Soooo, you gonna ask Dream to the spring dance after the game today?" Quackity said, gently elbowing my arm.
"I- uh- probably not... I don't even know if he likes me back... and there's really no way of telling either, y'know?" I responded, feeling my cheeks turning red.
"COME ON GEORGE!" Quackity yelled. That managed to get a few people to begin staring at us.
"Alex!" I whisper-shouted back to him.
"Sorry! Anyways, you need to at least try! C'mon! I believe in you," Quackity said, trying to encourage me.
"Ugh, fine. I MIGHT. You hear that? MIGHT," I shot back.
"YES! WOOOOO!" Quackity yelled, once again, getting people to stare, "oops, sorry!" he weakly smiled.
[time skip to george walking out of class for lunch]
