Mirae looked at her phone screen in horror, not believing what was written on it.

"i'M GONNA KILL YOU CHOI YUNA"

"BITCH I'M ONLY DOING GOD'S WORKAFFF"

Mirae took a deep breath, trying to calm down her palpitating heart.

It had been a week, and she tried her hardest to avoid the boy.

Why? She herself didn't know why she was being such a wuss, hiding from him instead of talking to him.

She pushed the café door open, the bell ringing as she did.

She walked in and as she looked up, she made eye contact with Minhee, who in return smiled at her.

Giving a small smile back, she walked over to him, sitting down in the chair in front of him.

"you know, you've been ignoring me lately"

Minhee said casually, taking a sip of his coffee.

Mirae started choking slightly, due to the boldness of his statement.

"damn he really cut to the chase huh" 

She muttered to herself, looking up with a red face, which made Minhee laugh.

"i'm joking, oh my gosh"

About 15 minutes had passed, and thankfully Mirae wasn't awkward or embarrassed around him. 

And to her luck, nothing of what happened a week ago was brought up.

"hey, you wanna go somewhere else?"

Mirae gave a confused look to the boy, who got up and pulled her with him.

"let's go"

With her hand firmly in his, Minhee took Mirae to the roof of a building.

"boy you better not push me-"

"i won't don't worry"

He chuckled. He turned to look out at the view, and the setting sun.

"uhm, so i wanted to talk to you about something"

Mirae looked at him, but he continued to stare at the city below.

"i like you. really really really like you"

He finally said, as he turned to look at her. 

Her face went red as he said those words, butterflies settling in her stomach.

"w-what?"

"you heard me"

He took her hands, and looked her in the eyes.

Wow, this is straight outta a cliche romance high school drama, no?

"i do too"

"you do what?"

"oh my god, i like you too"

They laughed, before once again looking at each other.

"are we about to kiss right now?"
